It is very convenient to stay

Very nice vintage building in downtown Ft. Worth. Room was well appointed and reasonably clean - not spotless - but acceptable. There were a lot of little things that really detracted from what could be a great place to stay. 1) Valet parking was exxxxxtremely slow - like 30 minutes to retrieve your vehicle 2) Tub drain was about as backed up as the valet parking service. 3) Had a single k-cup of coffee in the room 4) No complimentary water - you can buy downstairs for $4 a bottle - I mean c'mon, put a couple of bottles in the room for cryin' out loud 5) No coffee in the lobby in the morning - muffins, yogurt and fruit - but no coffee 6) When we arrived Friday evening, the hotel bar was not running due to lack of a bar tender. Like I said - lot's of little annoyances that would be easy to fix and make this place an excellent value.

My wife and i expected the hotel and the room to be nice from the booking site; however what pictures and booking descriptions can’t quite capture is all the people and the accommodations that far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located on the brick paved Main Street in Fort Worth across from the Capital Grille and Ruth’s Chris. It’s a historical 24 floor landmark building with a beautiful exterior and while renovated inside, maintains the character of the expert craftsmanship and beauty of the original building. The hotel lobby or checkin is on the 24th floor and provides spectacular views of the city. It’s quite breathtaking. There is comfy and stylish seating in the event that you have to wait for a room and where you can grab a bite or a cocktail in the adjacent bar with a bartender who is warm and friendly. Sean checked us in and you immediately Feel welcome similar to how you’d feel visiting friends. Sean notified us that our room from upgraded from a standard King to a beautiful 650sq foot suite on the 23rd floor. Sean noticed that the upgraded room, while ready, was near an elevator and below the lobby and might be noisier than we’d prefer and accommodated us with an equally beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the city and the beautiful Texas skyline. He gave us complimentary water and beer while we waited and had our room prepared and quality checked before we could finish our drinks. 🍺 The room was conveniently located close enough to the elevator and was perfect for my wife and I. The decor was so stylish and contemporary that we research many of the items to bring in similar ideas to our home in California. Everything was well thought-from the wall decor and comfortable bed and sofa, to the work space and televisions in each room that allow you to stream all of your favorite movies and shows directly from your phone at no cost. The minibar was well stocked, the in-room dining robust and covered much of anything you’d want during your stay. The hotel stocks many amenities that you may need and that they loan or sell including a nespresso coffee machine upon request. We didn’t eat at the Refinery 714 Bar and restaurant however we did eat breakfast and dinner at Il Modo. Josh delighted us breakfast each morning and Patrick made our dinner even more warm and romantic with very attentive service. We loved the hotel and the people so much that we decided to come back to celebrate our birthdays in December—not for the city or anything in Fort Worth or Texas per se, rather solely for the extraordinary service and amenities this downtown gem provides. Sean, Josh, Patrick and all the wonderful people including the valet—many thanks for turning a business trip with my wife, a relaxing and romantic getaway. PS, while we didn’t have pets, the hotel is very accommodating to pets and we saw several cuties during our stay.

Das Zimmer ist schön genug, aber die Dusche wird zerkleinert und braucht Ersatz. Nicht so groß von einem Deal. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Jetzt für den Fitnessraum .... Wenn Sie zuerst gehen in es scheint es ok nur klein. Doch 2 von 3 Laufbänder sind aus dem Dienst. Die Knöpfe auf dem Elliptik- & Treppenklimmer sind gebrochen. Die Elliptik ohne die Handschuhe wird die Widerstandskraft ändern, aber die Rampknöpfe tun nichts. Das ist 5 von 7 Maschinen nicht richtig arbeiten. Die Dummbellen sind sowohl die 30 lb als auch 35 lb Gewichte fehlen. Es gibt keine Abmatten. Die Universalmaschine ist in schlechtem Zustand. Ich weiß nicht, dass jeder das so wichtig findet, aber für diejenigen von uns, die versuchen, auf der Straße in Form zu bleiben, ist das extrem frustrierend. Ich hoffe, das Management tut etwas, um den traurigen Zustand der Fitness zu beheben.

Großes Hotel und Lage

My daughter and I were traveling for a gymnastics competition. We were pleased with the location's proximity to the Fort Worth Convention Center and dining options. The room and hotel were pretty clean overall. However, these are the weird things that ruined our stay: - The bathroom door knob was missing. I know it sounds weird, but there was no knob--just a big hole in the door where one should be. - The heat in our room did not work. We were cold and had it set to 80, but it only blew cold air. - Upon arrival at breakfast (included with our specific booking) no one acknowledged us or greeted us. We waited for a while and then I tracked down a worker putting out food to ask if we seat ourselves or if someone seats us. She did not reply to me (language barrier), but got someone to tell us we could just seat ourselves. It was confusing and unwelcoming. I witnessed other patrons enter after me and share the same confusion and have to ask as well. A simple greeting, welcome, or explanation could go a LONG way. I am not typically a complainer, so the issues above would've normally been mentioned at checkout for resolution before the next time they put someone in the room. It wasn't worth the hassle of moving to a different room. - (This was the biggie.) We had a family enter our room because they were given keys and assigned OUR room at check in. We had not checked out, and now our keys would no longer work. The family returned to the desk and were assigned a different room. When I asked about this mix up at the desk, they told me they ”didn't know how that had happened” like I was somehow making it up. They reprogrammed our key cards and assured us that no one else would bother us during the remainder of our stay. - They charged me for one night of parking instead of two, and charged me for breakfast although it was included with my booking. These charges were resolved and an apology was extended for the inconveniences of the stay. I would not stay at this hotel again, and will choose differently when traveling there next year. It was a hassle and a disappointment.

As much as I'd like to give this hotel 5 stars, I won't. It's a very charming old hotel, which I love. But our room was not at all what I would have expected for $400.00. When we walked in, the shutters were closed, and when I opened them, the clips that held the lace curtains were missing in some spots and made the curtains look saggy and in bad shape. Then there was the bathroom. In the middle of the night after I got up to use the toilet, the water wouldn't stop running. My husband had to stand on the bathtub and lift the top of the tank, jiggle the part of the toilet that makes the tank fill up, and then the water stopped running. This happened not once, but twice! The toilet was supposed to look like an old water closet toilet with a pull chain. So the pipe that went from the up in the air tank down to the toilet had two places where someone had built wooden boxes to cover the pipe's metal attachments. The one that was supposed to be affixed to the tank was cracked and hanging down. Then there was the shower experience. The lever that makes the water hotter or colder was coming out of the fixture. And when I was taking my shower, the drain wasn't draining. The water got up to almost the top of the tub before I finished. It finally drained out after about 10 minutes. And the last thing was the handles on the sink were installed so that the hot side turned on one way and the cold turned on the opposite way. I would expect this kind of thing in a Days Inn or a Red Roof Inn, but not a $400.00 room. My opinion of the Stockyards Hotel was that it's old and needs a lot of repair. It is my understanding that one of the bigger and more expensive hotels is going to come in and renovate it, but for now, don't waste your money. It's a rip-off.

We stayed here for 4 nights and my husband is Platinum Elite. We paid cash. The pool area was gross, very obviously not cleaned daily as hair and garbage would be there day after day. Our phone didn’t work in our room and was never fixed. One day when my baby was napping I had a do not disturb sign on the door and maintenance entered. I screamed at them. I was very upset. I contacted the front desk and they were rude about it. I was not offered any refund for our experience. The day we checked in there was a woman who was too busy smoking outside to help us with a key or pack n play. We kept trying to call down stairs but no one answered. My husband had to go find her.

Das Hotel liegt im Norden der Stadt, ganz nah beim Stockyards-Distrikt - Reisenden ist auch zu empfehlen, in diesem Teil der Stadt unterzukommen, denn die Downtown ist ausgesprochen langweilig. Der Check-in geht schnell und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer selbst sind ordentlich und sehr geräumig, jedoch ist die Sauberkeit nicht über alle Zweifel erhaben, denn auch Wände und Decken sollten ab und zu gereinigt werden - und das war scheinbar länger nicht geschehen. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber auch mit frischen Komponenten und eine positive Überraschung. Der Parkplatz hinter dem Haus ist praktisch, jedoch funktioniert das Zufahrtssystem nicht ohne Probleme.

Lauren und Elaine im Bar machen sowohl leckere Getränke und Essen und sind nur gute Leute zu reden, es macht den Aufenthalt hier für Geschäftsfühlen, wie ich zu Hause bin. Das Zimmer ist groß und geräumig und die Betten sind komfortabel. Mein Kaffee und Zucker wurden jeden Tag wieder aufbewahrt, bereit für mich am Morgen, wenn ich aufwachte. Es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung.
