Stayed for 4 nights on an Alpha coach trip. It's worth paying the extra for room upgrade. Lovely clean and comfortable, with balcony overlooking the Lake, modern clean bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Evening meal is 3 courses plus coffee, its not fine dining but it's OK. I have coeliac disease and require strict gluten free diet and they went above and beyond to help me. Our table waiters Cameron and Joe were fantastic. Bar and entertainment in the evenings. The hotel is 3 miles out of Fort William but there is a bus stop outside the hotel and bus timetable available at reception.

Eileen Derbyshire Having been told by my tour company two weeks prior to departure there were no ground floor rooms I was informed that there was not many steps to my room. I found that there was 23 going by the signage mainly occupied by Alpha customers, My room was on the first floor up 16 steps and as I am disabled I struggled all week, I opened my bedroom door to find the room in darkness it was up against a bank side and no sunlight got in. The grouting around the shower was so dirty I thought it had been paintedYeah where are you black.The service in the dining room was appalling we had to wait up to 3/4 hour to get served. We waited so long one morning we nearly missed the trip. We had to order our evening meal at breakfast to help the chef but after waiting for ever we were told there was no chicken left. The meals were generally poor with hardly any choice for the evening meal. This is one hotel I will not be visiting again. I felt the we were second class citizens to the alpha customers

Superb Value Hotel Either Coach Or Self Drive safe Situated on the edge of Fort William. Scenic views of Loch Linnhe from the hotel. Busses are available from the outside hotel if required or a 50 minute flat stroll to the town. Taxis available also. The hotel is comfortably appointed. With modern basic decor in the bed rooms. Standard hotel food portions.From a daily varied choice menu. All Staff worked hard. Slight issues in bedroom but nothing major. Some rooms have a balcony. Scenic day's out to Highland destinations. Would visit again.

The worst holiday accomodation, food and staff I have encountered on any holiday and not up to the standard I have experienced with the company previously. I lost half a stone and am now seriously considering cancelling future holidays I have booked with Alfa coaches.
