We stayed one night. When checking in, the front desk person could not find my rate and tried to tell me if was a higher rate. This should have been my first clue as to the type of hotel it is. Going into the room, it was medium clean, but we were only staying one night and less than 12 hours so we thought we could survive. It wasn't until the next morning that we saw there was no soap for a shower, which would have been ok as I had some with me, but the water pressure was terrible, and this was at 6 am. We passed on a shower, packed our bags and went to breakfast. I told the front desk clerk and she made a production about writing down the room number and they would check out the water pressure. I also mentioned that there was no soap. She said that we could have requested another room, but they did know there wasn't enough soap available because the order didn't come in. (hello, you're by a large city; aren't there any supercenters around?) Then we ate breakfast, not a very good one, and no juice available in the machine -- what's wrong with buying plastic containers and putting the juice in a small dispenser? When we sat down, the table next to us was laughing at what I'd said to the desk clerk. They had so little water pressure that it took 20 minutes to wash out the soap in their hair! As we talked to them, they had the same complaints we did. We finished packing the car and checked out. I asked for a receipt and we had a charge for a wall safe that we never used. I asked for it to be taken off and she did so reluctantly. I will check my credit card bill to make sure this happened. All in all, I would never stay there again. I called corporate and complained, and I just received an email (not very professionally written and full of misspellings and grammar mistakes) stating that I received a discounted rate and they were not going to discount the room any more. I think I've convinced my husband that the cheapest hotel is not necessarily the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Wir besuchten Fort Myers für eine Hochzeit in der Innenstadt (erste Zeiter in Amerika aus Wales, UK) und wir blieben 4 Nächte. Die Lage ist ideal für den Preis sehr nahe zu allem aber sehr vernünftige Preise. Das Hotel ist ein wenig müde, aber es ist sauber und hat einen schönen Pool, das Frühstück war auch super gut bei 9.95 Dollar, für ein warmes Buffet. Was das Hotel für uns eine tolle Wahl machte, war das schöne, willkommene und hilfreiche Team ... Ich wünsche mir nur, dass ich den Namen aller erinnern konnte! Der wunderschöne Gentleman, den wir am ersten Ankunftstag getroffen und die meisten Tage sahen (Schottland/Amerika) war super hilfreich und über die Gegend informiert, und sein Kollege (nachtsporter) war auch großartig, ein junger Mann (Ich denke, Duty Manager für die ersten 2 Tage) War super effizient, freundlich und gab uns Rat darüber, wie man um die lokale Umgebung zu kommen, die Dame mit dem wunderschönen Lächeln, Glas und braun/dunkel roter Schulter lang Haar auf der Rezeption war so willkommen und Debbie vom Frühstück war wirklich fantastisch ein Vermögen für die Team, so viele andere Mitarbeiter haben auch unseren Aufenthalt gemacht, die alle ein willkommenes Lächeln und hallo gab. Andere Bewertungen sagen ungeschmackliche Charaktere um das Hotel usw. in der Nacht, Ich würde nicht in der Nacht in einem fremden Land/Stadt zu meinem Haus wandern, ja es gab einige gefährdete Menschen in den Straßen in der Nacht (wie die meisten der Welt) , Sie könnten im 'poshest Hotel in der Welt' sein und noch in Gefahr sein, Ich habe sicherlich nicht unsicher im Hotel gefühlt. Tolles Hotel, neu, sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, geräumig, bequeme Betten, kein Lärm. Das Parken ist kostenlos, Wäschemöglichkeiten gibt es in der Einrichtung im Erdgeschoss. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums (ca. 8 Minuten zu Fuß). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Komplettes klassisches Frühstück mit süßer/salziger Auswahl.

We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.

Wir reservierten ein übergroßes Königszimmer. Wir baten um den Westturm im sechsten Stock. Als wir incheckten, bekam wir ein Zimmer im sechsten Stock, aber im Ostturm. Jetzt mögen wir den Ostturm nicht, da die Ansichten nicht so schön sind wie der Westturm. Wir beantragten auch ein spezielles Zimmer im Westturm. Aber das Zimmer war schön. Wir genossen es. Es gab ein kontinentales Frühstück, das serviert wurde und wir gingen zum Restaurant für das. Wir gingen um 9 Uhr zum Restaurant und das Zimmer war besetzt. Wir fanden einen Platz zu sitzen und ich ging hin und bekam mein Mann und mir ein Glas Orangensaft und es gab keine. Die meisten der Speise waren weg. Es gab Getreide zur Verfügung, ich weiß nicht über Milch. Sie boten nur Omelette mit Pfeffer in sie und einige Sauce-Links. Es gab nicht viel davon zur Verfügung. Ich aß ein paar Sauce-Links. Ich mache keine Omelette oder Pfeffer. Ich wollte einen Bäcker und Frucht bekommen, sie waren auch davon. Mein Mann sagte, dass sein Omelet kalt war, wie meine Sauce-Links, auch er. Es gab noch Leute, die um 9:30 Uhr zum Frühstück eintraten und die Mitarbeiter waren die Geräte und Essen reinigen und wegsetzen. Wir gingen nicht zum Frühstück für den Rest unseres Aufenthalts zurück. Ich werde sagen, dass die Ansichten dieses Hotels über den Fluss sind erstaunlich und das war, wofür wir da waren. Dieses Hotel ist alt und braucht eine Menge Updates. Wir sind in diesem Hotel seit etwa 12 + Jahren gekommen und nichts hat sich verändert. Die Zimmer sind müde und alt. Sie werden nicht aktualisiert, um eine Menge der Elektronik, die wir heute alle zu bezahlen haben, zu akzeptieren. Ich nehme einen USB-Ausgang, den ich in die Wand schließe, damit wir unsere Telefone, Anhörungsgeräte, Computer und andere Elektronik in sie schließen können, um sie zu belasten. Ich würde auch ein neues A/C-System für die Zimmer vorschlagen, da sie nicht so kalt waren, wie wir es gewünscht hätten.

In meiner Lebenszeit muss ich bei. 20 einige Econo-Unterkünfte und das muss das schlimmste sein. Wenn Sie Kaffee wollen, wenn Sie aufwachen, werden Sie es nicht bekommen. Es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer und für sie sind kleine kontinentale Frühstück Sie öffnen die Türen nicht bis 7. So müssen Sie irgendwo anders gehen, wenn Sie früher aufsteigen, um Kaffee zu bekommen. Es wurde frisch malen Sie können sagen. Aber außerdem war es nicht alles. Das große oder das Geld wert. Dann haben Sie die Leute, die im Parkplatz hängen, um zu Ihnen zu kommen für Geld etc. Nicht sehr guter Bereich. Dies war ursprünglich darauf ausgerichtet, das untere Ende zu positionieren, also war ich bereits vorbereitet, ließ mich nicht im Stich, es war sehr einfach, es gibt nichts, was die Leute dazu bringen würde, wieder zu bleiben.
