We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.

We enjoyed a perfectly fine stay in early March 2024. The location was good, and just a short 5-10 min walk from shops, restaurants and bars in Fort Myers (although, be mindful of needing to cross a very large intersection just outside the hotel). Plenty of free parking in their lot, but no EV chargers. Being a brand new hotel, the actual rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. But as one reviewer notes, the HVAC unit was noisy. Wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others. Breakfast and other amenities are as you would you expect with any Hampton Inn. But special shout out to Beth who served breakfast each morning during our stay! Would stay here again.

My family and I recently stayed at this property after our flight was canceled due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I needed to find a place rather quickly and came across this Courtyard in the Bonvoy app. Upon arrival, we were granted early check-in, which was a huge plus as we had been up early, hoping to get out of Southwest Florida before further flooding occurred. Our room was modestly appointed with two queen beds and clean linens. The room was damp despite the AC trying to keep up with the constant humidity. My wife and kids could use the clean hotel pool, which kept them well entertained while I attended to some work calls in the room. The staff is overall friendly and very accommodating. For convenience, a restaurant adjacent to the property can be walked to, and the food was pretty tasty. Well our stay was mostly out of necessity, I would think about re-booking again if passing through the Fort Myers area.

Sehr schönes Hotel! Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und zuvorkommend! Herd und Spülmaschine, sodass Sie nicht auswärts essen müssen, wenn Sie nicht möchten. Es liegt günstig mitten in so vielen großen Geschäften und Geschäften! In der Nähe der Innenstadt von Ft. Myers, macht es zu einem tollen Kurzurlaub!

Lovely new hotel. Warm greeting. Nice room. Comfortable beds. A little too dark: had to go out and buy and brighter bulb for the lamp in order to have a good reading light. Strange to have a little ”kitchenette” with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker without a sink, which used to be normal for Springhill Suites. Really miss that sink. Also, the new concept combines the lavatory with the toilet and shower. We prefer the divided concept where one person can use the lavatory while the other uses the bathroom. But we had an enjoyable stay and will likely stay there again.

Love the at home feel I cooked everyday the dishwasher, bowls, plates, pans and free washing was a plus since we didn't have breakfast. We just cooked our own ! By the way the coffee down stairs is great too. The guy that worked nights was very helpful too.

Wir waren jetzt zum vierten Mal in diesem Hotel und hatten sofort das Gefühl nach Hause zu kommen. Die Mitarbeiter, die uns noch kannten(Wegen Corona waren wir 2 Jahre nicht dort) begrüßten uns herzlich und freuten sich, daß wir wieder da sind. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter, die wir noch nicht kannten, waren aber genauso hilfsbereit und wenn man einen Wunsch hatte, wurde er erfüllt, manchmal waren es nur Kleinigkeiten, aber immer wurde sofort reagiert, selbst Stühle für den Strand bekamen wir mit. Casey, die stellvertretende Managerin hat uns mit ihrer zwar zurückhaltenden aber sehr liebenswerten Art, einen tollen Empfang bereitet. Wir sind glücklich, daß wir sie haben, genauso wie die anderen Mitarbeiter, wir können gar nicht Alle nennen, aber trotzdem möchten wir uns speziell bei Maria, Ofelia, Denia, Estrella und Rafael bedanken, weil sie immer fröhlich und gut gelaunt waren und uns den Aufenthalt verschönert haben. Wir haben immer den Eindruck, daß jeder Spaß an der Arbeit hat und das gesamte Hotel ein klasse Team ist, das kommt auch bei anderen Gästen sehr gut an. Der Pool ist angenehm beheizt, selbst wenn es mal kälter ist im Dezember, kann man seine Runden schwimmen. Der Pool wird auch regelmäßig gereinigt sowie Alles im Hotel, insgesamt sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind wie gewohnt, gut ausgestattet mit Allem was man benötigt, ein Riesenkühlschrank mit großem Eisfach plus eine ausgestattete Küche. In den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Leider gibt es Abendessen nur noch am Mittwoch, nicht wie früher von Montag bis Donnerstag, aber das ist jetzt bei Allen Homewood Suites umgestellt worden. Mehr Negatives kann ich nicht nenne, weil es wirklich nichts zu bemängeln gibt. Wer uns das nicht glaubt, muß selbst einmal das Hotel buchen. Dieses Hotel macht Spaß und wurde nicht umsonst ausgezeichnet.

The Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort took significant damage following hurricane Ian. Almost all of the vegetation and landscaping around the property was lost. That being said, the hotel is working very hard to get it back into shape and this was evident in all the work going on during my stay. Most of the property is back up and running and the staff are doing an amazing job. The only reason I could not give this hotel five stars was the fact that regardless of the hurricane recovery efforts, the hotel is showing its age and needs a significant remodel to the rooms, hallways and common areas. The staff and service was excellent!
