Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center

The room was clean and nice but no heat the staff at front desk was nice . The casino was alright for video blackjack I did alright. But the food and staff in the grill was terrible at best I ordered a sirloin that was not eatable I had to wait several minutes for everything I drank 2 beers before ordering dinner and 1 more with dinner and was told I could have any more 35 min before they closed I had not drank anything previously and they was quite rude about it . The other complaint i have is I like to find my place in the casino and stay I played black jack the next morning in the same spot for 4 hours I wanted some coffee or water. The only way to do that is get up and lose your machine. I played in other reservation casinos, even though the drinks aren’t free they still bring them to you. I understand they have a no alcohol in casino only in the bar, but it would make sense that they would have one or two girls bring coffee, water, or soda to the machines. All in all the hotel wasn’t bad. The casino wasn’t bad but don’t go there hungry.

We got there November 9th the pool was closed down the hot tub was closed down at 5:30 pm the buffet ran out of food. The following morning November 10th 1 of the 2 elevators was closed for service. I do have to be fair and say the room were nice and clean and the staff were amazing. Especially the girl who did my pedicure. Would I recommend or return the answer is no. I would be embarrassed if I recommended it to family or friends and they had the same Experience.

After many room changes due to problems (no A/C, no telephone, hot tub full of cold water), we were finally moved to a beautiful suite. Thanks to Tammy, she was very accomodating. This suite we had was the most comfortable bed and pillows ever! You could actually live in this suite short term! The coffee machine wasn't working, so Tammy had a new one sent upstairs. Jeremy at the front desk was also friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay a the Shoshone BAnnock Hotel and will definitely stay here again! Thank you, Tammy and Jeremy!

The fire alarm went off at 4am they made everyone get out and even after the fire fighters cleared it as a false alarm they waited to let us back in. We could not go back to sleep and let front desk know. No discount and even worse no apology for the inconvenience.

The a/c will not cool off your room. So hot I couldn't sleep. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In my book I should of drove another 40 min to get a hotel I could of slept comfortably in. In the end over priced room that I got the worst sleep on this trip.

Nice room, great bed. Weird alcohol rules: no alcohol allowed on casino floor, and single bar was smoky. Sports grill only restaurant open on Thurs night other than deli. It has beer and wine, but was not listed on the menu. Food there was good. Avoid the breakfast burrito from the deli--cold and had some bone chips.
