Stayed here for one night as my husband was golfing in the area. Could not have chosen a better place to stay. What a team David and his wife (Rowena) are! David is such an interesting man - with a sense of humour - but his life experience stories are just so interesting. He's keen to let you know that his wife (Rowena) works very hard to give guests a first-class experience. The rooms are beautiful. We had a large room overlooking the garden. Large comfortable bed with beautiful crisp cotton bedlinen. Large bathroom. All immaculate in presentation and cleanliness. The house is beautiful with a lounge area for guests too. David will recommend places for eating in the evening. We had a lovely meal in the place he recommended for us. Now get the breakfast. I have never had as much choice in a breakfast. You can have whatever you like and you preorder the evening before. All beautifully cooked by Rowena. Cannot praise this place enough. So glad we stayed here and highly recommend to others.

Had a wonderful two day stay here. The building is wonderful: coming into the entry lobby is spectacular, with the huge stair case and all the restored period features. The bathroom and shower etc in our room was great: large, spacious and comfortable. We’d come from a long week wild camping so a good shower and bath was high on our priority list! The breakfast (cooked by Rowena herself) was the real highlight of the trip though. The host, David, lays out breakfast and facilitates conversations between the assortment of interesting, international guests. Really made the stay interesting and human, one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. We had a view out over their wonderful garden, which really invited you to stay and spend time at the house. Highly recommended.

Rowena and David Cameron operate a beautiful getaway spot in the heart of the Scottish highlands close to numerous attractions that make this a spectacular destination. We stayed for a week while on an ancestry tracing mission. The room we were assigned was warm and welcoming with many pieces of period correct-to-the-house furniture that made us feel we stepped into a comfortable country manor house. The suite was large, quiet and overlooked the side and rear yard. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was updated and easy to use with all amenities supplied. The location was excellent with many eating establishments within walking distance. Breakfast was pre-selected with a good variety of options and made to order. The bonus was the opportunity to converse with David over coffee and learn much about the local area, ancestry and life in mid-century Scotland, Malaysia and points in between. A rare opportunity. We left feeling that we had made new friends. We would recommend Tali Ayer highly and look forward to returning soon.

We enjoyed very much our stay in this place. It is super clean; the bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices; the service is excellent. Everything is stylish and chosen with taste in this place. David and Rowenna are very nice and friendly hosts.

The rooms are well appointed with a lovely ambiance. Lots of space to make yourself at home. The breakfast was great and the hosts very kind and welcoming folks. Nothing was a problem. Only wish we could have stayed longer
