Misty Valley Inn B&B

This was the ideal place to stay when hiking Hoh! Location was close to park. We stayed in the Dutch Suite which is absolutely charming. The view of the wooded valley is exceptional. Breakfast was high quality. Best pancakes ever! Great staff, she was able to answer questions about the area and provided some history as well. Loved viewing the wildlife at the outside feeders too.

My family and I stayed two nights last week while hiking in the area. The beds were comfortable, the bedding divine. The food was fantastic. We had the Moroccan omelet, Logger Pancakes, Triple Berry crepes. The owners were responsive and pleasant. As an added bonus, there were hummingbirds.

We loved this place! We were there for 3 nights. I have never been anywhere that pays more attention to detail as they do here! Right outside the house there is a nice water feature and a place to clean off your boots from hiking. As you enter into the house there is a spot to leave you shoes should you choose. Once up the steps you are in the dining area that has coffee, tea and several plates of yummy bite size pastries. There is also a small fridge should you need to leave any leftovers and an ice/water machine above the fridge. (In the glass case they have some items they sell and the B&B wifi password). Next to the dining room there is a tv room and they have a huge selection of Blue Ray DVD'S should you choose not to hang in your room. Our rooms were super cozy with an electric fireplace, comfy beds and plenty of towels. (They do not enter your room during your stay). However, if you need fresh towels, they will supply them. In the bathroom they supply shampoo, body wash and conditioner. My favorite was the small bowl of candy/chocolate. Just what you need after a day of hiking. BREAKFAST was the BEST I have ever had anywhere!! It will not give it away what they do, but it was ALL amazing! I told Trishia I wish they would cook more meals, but she said they would then never be able to leave their place!! My other favorite thing is watching the squirrels and birds during breakfast through the window! She feeds them in the morning and it is so fun to watch them. Overall if I could I would give them 5+ stars!!

We stayed at the B&B for 2 nights, it was my first time ever staying in a B&B, the owners are very good communicators for checking in and making sure everything is set up well, it’s a no contact arrival and they give you great communication on everything from Where to park to how to find your room and everything in-between. The entrance with the wood carvings brings a smile to your face right as you enter and the home feels comfortable! Our room was so cute, we stayed in the English Suite, the bed was very comfortable, I love a softer bed. The room was spotless and they thought of everything, ear plugs, the main road can get a little loud, they also had a white noise machine in the room, and a few candy snacks near the bed. We did the romantic package with champagne and heart shaped cake pops, it was wonderful, the champagne was chilling in the room when we arrived. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, staff was wonderful and helpful and made everything perfectly. We chatted with the owner Tim in the mornings, he was great to talk to, we didn’t meet his wife Tricia but she sounds lovely as well, you can tell they are loving the new life adventure of owning a B&B our second evening we did enjoy sitting in the relaxing family room watching some tv and met some other guests. Not a lot of food choices in the area so starting the day with a amazing breakfast was wonderful and they had cookies and lemon bars and snacks out as well as coffee or tea. Also, breakfast watching the squirrels and stellar jays was a joy! We even saw a bald eagle fly in the distance. It was a birthday getaway I won’t forget!

We stayed at Misty Valley in September and spent the days walking & exploring. The bed in our room was wonderfully comfortable. The room itself had everything we needed and the bathroom was clean and lovely and had many amenities. It's a perfect location for driving north or south and is just a bit outside of town. Breakfast was delicious and there were yummy snacks and tea/coffee/drinks in the afternoon evening. The staff gave us helpful advice on where to eat, (very limited choices) and which hikes we might prefer. Highly recommend!
