Unfortunately I was hospitalised with pancreatitis 4 days before travelling, and was unable to travel. I went through the cancellation process, and whilst totally understanding that most bookings can’t be cancelled at a late stage, there was an option to submit proof of medical reasons to cancel. I provided a photo of my hospital paperwork as proof, and very quickly the cancellation request was declined. What is the point of allowing a medical request for cancellation if it is just going to be declined?
We have relatives who have just moved near this hotel and we were going to use it regularly.
This extremely short sighted poor customer service means that I couldn’t recommend it, and will not be using it in the future.
