What a beautiful venue. What a shame about the rude, greedy uncaring hosts who go out of their way to bully and intimidate guests all whilst taking no responsibility for their actions and maintaining an extremely unsafe venue. Where do i even start with these things people. We he had our wedding booked here aswell as accommodation for a week. Now we are extremely easy going people and understand that we are planning this in a relaxed Tuscan villa and cultures differ. However our 45 guests and 5 vendors (English, German and Italian) all agreed that these are the most rude and awkward vendors you will ever encounter. Since booking this in 2018, the original live in manager has left and seemingly no structure has been reimplemented. Instead the manager who lives on the other side of Italy now manages this with some guy who owns a bar in town and does the odd few bits. I won’t even get into the disaster of the months leading to our arrival where the owner decided to tell us 5 weeks before the wedding that they can no longer do the catering…. Firstly, despite having this planned for years and confirming 48 hours before arrival, they forgot we were coming so we arrived and there was nobody to be seen. When calling the owner we were told that nobody is there because we told him specifically we didn’t want the room. When sending him the texts and emails we exchanged just days earlier we just got a rude response and no acknowledgement of his error until days later. Eventually somebody arrived to check us in. However that’s putting it politely, we were handed a key and he left. No instructions, no wifi passwords, villa rules… nothing. Bring around day 2…… when we booked we were told we had use of the kitchen units in the rooms (considering we booked the entire villa for 20 people and getting around to town for lunch this is important) and the jacuzzi and pool. When somebody finally turned up to the villa as it’s mostly unstaffed, we asked for toilet roll and plates for the kitchen unit. Then we get told the kitchen units are not allowed anymore because they don’t want to clean them up st the end of stays (not sure why I’m paying a €240 cleaning fee at this point as there is no daily cleaning). Furthermore apparently they also decided the same applies for the jacuzzi which is just a rotting mess now. The swimming pool decking is the most unsafe surface I’ve ever seen in a commercial building. It’s crazy. It should be condemned. The owner quite frankly couldn’t of cares less about any of this. Instead what we received was a text message threatening to kick us out the villa for swimming past 8 (nobody had ever told us we couldn’t and there is no signs) and for drinking our own drinks by pool in plastic cups as we didn’t buy the drinks from the Venue. To be clear, there is nowhere to buy drinks from the venue, there is literally nobody ever there…. It’s insane. La location è molto ben curata e il personale che gestisce la struttura è molto cortese e disponibile. Non ho apprezzato il fatto che non ci è stata rifatta la camera, nonostante in bagno fosse presente l'avviso di lasciare in terra gli asciugamani da cambiare. Non siamo stati avvisati che la pulizia non sarebbe avvenuta durante il nostro soggiorno. La camera ci è stata venduta come "appartamento" ma conteneva solo un letto, un divano/letto e il bagno quindi la definirei assolutamente camera e non appartamento. La colazione, sufficiente per quantità, è piuttosto limitata nella varietà dei prodotti e totalmente assente di specialità locali. Nessun prodotto salato disponibile a buffet.
