Zaga Zaga Sat

We stayed at the resort during the Easter period from Thursday to Monday, family of 6, parents, grandparents and 2 children 6y and 8y. We had one bungalow on the big lake and one floating. Overall we had a lovely experience, the place itself is stunning, the accommodation is very clean and there is plenty to do for young and old. I would have given 4,5 points even, however, there are a few improvement points: - the accommodation that was booked with kids ( 200eur more than without) had a second bed arranged but there were only 2 sets of towels. Also, the cute Easter food basket was for 2 people, so only 2 eggs 2 slices of pie etc. - the rental bikes are not in a good condition, not comfortable and some even not working properly - the bungalow on the lake could do with more seating options, there is only a fixed bench and no chairs. I’ve seen people came prepared with folding chairs. - the restaurant is a bit overpriced for Romania, think 6eur a beer for example. The food was mostly delicios, the chef is doing great sauces( the pork in wine and garlic sauce is divine). The Easter brunch had everything one could wish for. - the zaga zaga express game organised before Easter was not really properly advertised. I thought it is gonna be an egg hunt (this is how it was described on instagram) but it was more like a competition with a mix of puzzles and running after clues all around the resort. We came unprepared for so much walking, not right shoes etc which hindered a bit the experience. Also, apparently they used the same challenges from previous years which gave a huge advantage to the people who were participating again. So maybe it would be a good idea to change the challenge to give a fair chance to all. To end on a positive note I think it was a successful holiday, I would come again and recommend it to friends. Also, a big plus is the fact that the management knows how to accept a constructive criticism and behaves in a proper hospitality manner. The staff, both the locals and foreigners, is very friendly and helpful

stunning place, Wake up every morning to a magical view. Vast expanses of infinite beauty. Although we were a couple, the place is a paradise for children. There is everything here, a rope park, Omega, and more. We're sure we'll be back. The staff is wonderful, and ready to serve. Special thanks to Romeo.

Warmly recommended ! An authentic piece of heaven, ideal to recharge your batteries. Comfortable, cosy and well-equipped accommodations with a wonderful view on the lake, excellent food at the restaurant, friendly staff and affordable prices... What more can we ask for ?

The food is very expensive compared to its quality. Very few options for meals and drinks, and sime of them are nit available all the time. They don't allow you to bring food and drinks from ouside the resort. They even don't allow you in the restaurant to take tap water at dinner (they said it is only for breackfast). They simply take advantage on you, as you have no other option to eat there. The umbrellas at the swiming pool are very poor. They simply don't stand up in the low windy weather. No umbrella or at least a shadow place on the pontoons connected to the bungalows. Every where you look at you can notice low quality fittings. A nice place, but the business model is focussed on exploiting the customers, than to make them to feel good and come again.
