Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites

We booked two luxury suites for 4 nights, one for my husband and myself, the other for our 17 year old daughter. The suites are spacious and truly luxurious and the breakfast which is included, made to order and served in the suites, is delicious. We loved the location of the suites 10 minutes away (by foot) from the hustle and bustle of the historic centre. The staff are great about emailing in advance of your stay with detailed directions. They also provide a detailed list of restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us. Every single one of their restaurant recommendations was exceptional. Our stay at Velona’s Luxury Suites enhanced our trip to Florence/Tuscany and would definitely stay there again when in Florence.

This place was so fun and in a great location to walk to whatever you need. It's out of the way of the central town but the food and shops all around were perfect. The decor and comfort of the room was so fun and pretty. What a gem of a place to stay in florence!

Velons’s Jungle Luxury Suite is a world class designer bed and breakfast. After stayed there for 3 nights, I am convinced it had world class services to match. The moment we step into the property, the manager warmly welcomed us, patiently marked on s map what to do and where. He then provided a 5-page list of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, attractions and boutiques which locals go. He next gave us a list on what things staff like to do. The management constantly changes the list if any place falls below their standards. The room is very spacious with a balcony covered by climbing jasmine flower, facing one ancient Rome city wall tower. Both our room and bathroom are the biggest we had in this Italy trip. The facilities (bed, sheets, furniture and deco) are definitely 5-star luxury hotel standard. Breakfast is included and everything is organic, fresh and high quality. Guests choose what they want from a list and we barely eat 1/3 things on the list. The property is within walking distance to City Center, Train Station, away from noisy tourist areas, 2 minutes away from the scenery river, and in a very safe neighborhood. Many restaurants, coffee and gelato places are just around corner. Staffs are onsite except night and very friendly, help us making reservations and anything we need or want. They really tried so hard and want to give us a perfect experience. And, they delivered. If you are use to beautiful and luxurious surroundings, above and beyond services, want to eat and relax like locals, Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suite is the place in Florence.

This is how hospitality should be done. Highly recommended. When we arrived wee were met with the warmest of welcomes along with advice on the best cafes, restaurants etc to visit during our short stay. Great location, full of character. Amazing experience!!

We stayed at four places during a 2 week tour of Italy, and the Jungle Suites in Florence is the place we have taken the most pictures of and talk about still. Veronica and her staff are great, so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the building, the decor and Florence itself. Fantastic stay, we would (and plan to!) return in a heartbeat. Where to start the location is perfect for visiting Florence. Veronica has to be the most welcoming host. We were contacted with the exact location and given details to ensure we found the premises. Upon arrival we had the warmest welcome made to feel immediately at ease given a map of the area and top tips for where to go. Our room was 5 star quality impeccably clean and luxurious, the toiletries were amazing.
