Hotel Centro

We enjoyed our stay here (30 April to 3rd May 2024). The young woman running the place while we were there was so lovely and helpful (wish i could remember her name). As the hotel name says it is very central and close to so many of the places of interest with a supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants etc in the area. Access is odd at first but soon got the hang of the lifts and stairs. People that say they shared bathrooms must have booked really cheap rooms, ours had an ensuit. The bed was so comfy and the room so quiet I had great sleeps and did not want to get up in the morning. In fact we put up the do not disturb for couple of days so that we could really relax from travelling.

Disgusting - Do not book this price-gouging hotel. They canceled my reservation under the pretense that my very valid credit card did not work. I called them 10 times to give them another method of payment. They unilaterally canceled my reservation only to bring the availability of the room at $100 more per night. Do not trust these people. Do not book with them

Quarto amplo e confortável, com frigobar. Perto da igreja Santa Maria del Fiore. O elevador para subir até a recepção é bem pequeno, então cabe apenas 1 mala e uma pessoa. Como estava com minha família, tive que fazer algumas viagens. Fiz um check in tarde e fui plenamente bem orientada pela recepção. Ocorreu apenas um problema de comunicação na saída: como fiz o check in tarde, apenas encontrei a faxineira na manhã seguinte para pagar as taxas e pedir as informações sobre o check out. Ela informou que poderíamos deixar as malas e buscar antes das 16h, pois após esse horário ela já teria saído. Por precaução, chegamos as 15h30 no hotel para pegar as malas e o recepcionista estava lá e disse que fica até as 19h. Se tivesse essa informação antes, teria explorado mais a cidade e ido mais tarde para a estação de trem.

Hotel all’interno di un palazzo antico ma dentro interamente strutturato, camera piccola ma confortevole e pulita. Il punto di forza è senza dubbio la posizione in pieno centro (due minuti a piedi dalla piazza del Duomo). Unica pecca il deposito bagagli l’ultimo giorno ci è stato concesso solo fino alle 16.

Ubicación correcta, alojamiento modesto, precio nada modesto e imposible obtener factura… llevamos mes y medio ( empezamos a solicitar la factura antes de ir, la volvimos a solicitar en el alojamiento y seguimos solicitándola mes y medio después de la salida). Nos fuimos un domingo. La chica que nos despidió nos dio una “ factura” en papel que no era tal ya que no figuraba el NIF. Se lo dijimos y nos dijo que ella no podía modificarla, que al día siguiente ( lunes) nos la enviarían por email. Volvimos a dejarle anotados todos los datos pero nunca nos la enviaron. Cada vez que se la reclamamos o no nos responden o nos dicen que la factura tenía todos los datos, cosa que no era cierta. Ni siquiera se dignan a enviarnos una copia ( así verían que no hay NIF). Es “ oscuro” recibir un pago y no querer emitir factura…
