Hotel Nella

I was concerned about choosing this hotel based on the fact that it was one-star. It may be technically one-star but has five-star friendliness, cleanliness, and location. If you are arriving/departing from Santa Maria Novella Station, it is a five-minute walk. I usually avoid areas near train stations but this hotel is tucked away on a very pleasant street with many locations to stop for a drink or something to eat. Minutes walk to the central market and Medici San Lorenzo quarter. Everywhere is within easy walking distance on pleasant, interesting streets. The staff at hotel Nella could not have been nicer and their service was warm and natural. We had an issue with booking through a third-party website and were contacted directly by the hotel who efficiently sorted everything. I would recommend booking directly and communication was excellent. A special word of thanks to Alejandrain in this respect. Amenities are basic but good. If you intend to spending a lot of time in your hotel, it is probably not for you. I could not, however, imagine spending much time in a hotel that has one of the most beautiful cities in the world outside it's front door! If you want a good value hotel in a great location, that is spotlessly clean, you can do no better than Hotel Nella.

Great location as its in the center and close to everything. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. The service provided was even better as the staff took the time to explain to us which restaurants/places to visit!

El lugar perfecto donde alojarse si visitas Florencia. Habitaciones acogedoras, muy cuidadas, nevera que enfría muy bien y rápido las bebidas y ventanas que cuando cierras no se oye nada del exterior. Hay smart TV y puedes conectar tu Netflix y Prime, no olvides desconectarlo al acabar tu estancia. En el pasillo de la planta encontrarás, cafe, té, agua fría , galletas durante las 24 horas. Alejandra es un encanto y te explicará todo sobre la ciudad y como hacer todo más facil. Está situado a 5 minutos caminando de la estación de tren y a 8' del Duomo. El Mercado central que en su planta alta tiene restaurantes de todo tipo está a 4 minutos, no dejes de visitarlo.
