B&B Cavour10 Firenze

Book somewhere else - please do not make the mistake we made. While the photos seem nice, the condition and cleanliness of the room is not a place you want to stay at. We arrived to the hotel at the time discussed and had to wait for 10 extra minutes while they told us “it is still being cleaned, we had 10 guys stay in all the rooms and they left it a mess.” While we understand some challenges with past people who stayed there, you do not want to know that minutes before entering. We entered the entryway which smelt very bad, made our way up and entered the room which was so hot the concierge had to take off his coat in the short time he showed us the room because he said “it is very hot” (which he was extremely nice and did his best with a clearly not well kept stay). We did our best to deal with it even with a quick need to leave for a reservation. We left the window open as the AC unit did not seem to work (yes, we had to try and use AC in winter because it was so hot). Before we left, we looked at the towels on the bed and there were ants crawling on them so we quickly asked them to exchange them which they did but it made us concerned with the rest of the stay and the bed’s cleanliness that the towels originally were on. After looking closer at the room, we noticed the bed had visible dirt, the bathroom had many broken parts (fan, flush of toilet, and no hand towels). We felt so dirty that we messaged them expressing that we wanted a refund for our 3 day stay before even sleeping the first night because we did not feel comfortable there. They acted like they would give the opportunity for a partial credit if someone booked it for the next two nights. Someone did book the room for a lower amount which they told us, we never received a refund and stopped responding after we requested the refund be paid. We filed a claim with our credit card and they denied everything. Very disappointing when a business does not hold its promises to its customers. It’s very beautiful from a distance, and we are so sad we didn’t feel comfortable staying. We appreciate Gonzalo’s communication.

I we booked 2 rooms at B&B Cavour 10 Hotel and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The service was subpar. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning in the room. iMessage Gonzalo and he said that he was going to be there in an hour. We waited an hr and a half and he never showed up!!!! We checked in but left that same day and ultimately decided to book another hotel room at the last minute to salvage our trip. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Clean Room. No water.notwa or coffee.even no kettle...no fridge.. just one paper toilet... no TV remote control... It's not even standard room. Totally different than the picture you see. Very poor...not happy at all.

Prenoto il 15 novembre una camera presso questo B&B per trascorrere la notte di sabato 16 novembre con la mia famiglia. Il giorno 16 novembre arriviamo a Firenze per le ore 10, facciamo un giro per la città in attesa di poter fare finalmente il check in alle ore 15 e alle ore 12 circa arriva invece una bella mail da parte di Booking che mi avvisa, scusandosi, avvisandoci che l’host non era più in grado di poterci ospitare. Il disagio dunque di dover necessariamente cercare una nuova sistemazione che fortunatamente abbiamo poi trovato. Col senno del poi è andata meglio essere riusciti a trovare una nuova sistemazione, considerando le recensioni brutte che questa struttura, che avevo scelto unicamente per la posizione centrale, aveva come rating. Booking ci ha messo una pezza fortunatamente, ma comportamento scorretto dell’host. Da evitare

B&b situato in posizione strategica, in zona centrale e sicura, a due passi da tutte le attrazioni principali e i ristoranti migliori Molto carino, in stile rinascimentale, con arredi e affreschi che ti fanno rivivere un tuffo nella Firenze storica del 1940 Colazione compresa da effettuare in un bar molto carino sotto il b&b Nota dolente non da poco in realtà è la pulizia, pavimento della stanza sporco, macchie diffuse. Bagno alla stregua della stanza, acqua calcarea sui muri, polvere alta 2 cm sui muri.... Insomma stanza che non viene pulita da un bel po... peccato.
