Es liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Santa Maria Novella entfernt. Sie können auch mit einer Straßenbahn vom Busbahnhof kommen. Das Zimmer ist wirklich sauber und ich schätze es, dass auch Gäste im Schlafsaal Annehmlichkeiten wie Seife, Handtücher und Handtücher kostenlos nutzen können. Da es jedoch keine Küche gibt, könnte es für Leute, die ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zubereiten möchten, etwas schwierig sein.

Der Aufenthalt war okay, wir würden aber nicht wiederkommen. Schon zum Check-in mussten wir 45 Minuten anstehen und warten. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und man kann die Klimaanlage gut selbst einstellen, leider hat ein Föhn gefehlt. Außerdem war in 4 Tagen kein einziges Mal der Zimmerservice in unserem Zimmer, um sauberzumachen. Das größte Manko ist der Pool! Er ist leider viel zu klein für alle Gäste des Hotels. Darum muss man einen Tag vorher einen Zeitslot buchen, an dem man für 2 Stunden einen Platz am Pool hat. Doch auch dann macht es leider nicht wirklich Spaß, auf der rooftop bar zu sein, weil es trotzdem viel zu voll ist. Äußerst schade, da das Hotel stark mit dem schönen Pool wirbt und man ihn kaum nutzen kann. Auch enttäuschend, dass für den Preis dann nicht einmal das Frühstück inklusive ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, man ist in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt.

Große Lage, zu Fuß von den meisten Hauptattraktionen entfernt. Sie erhalten auch einen willkommenen Getränk und das Personal war super freundlich. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels habe ich geblieben, das Bett ist klein und nicht wirklich komfortable jedoch. Ich würde noch einmal buchen, wenn ich wieder in Florenz wäre.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. We were carrying two large bags, but the walk was still manageable. The hotel is slightly away from the bustling part of Florence, so there are limited food options around. But that was not a problem for us. Our room for 2 adults and 2 kids was on the ground floor and pretty large. The hotel offers a very good breakfast with lot of sweet options. On one of days, they packed a breakfast for us since had to go early on a tour. Finally, all the hotel staff were extremely helpful all along; we had a slight problem with the locker, but that got sorted very quickly. The hotel calls itself a 3-star, but i would give it 5 out of 5.

I had problems trying to find a hotel in Florence at short notice and ended up booking a room at this hotel. First I should explain that this hotel is on the second and third floor of a building. I was given a room by the stairs, which by the way are made of wood I think, so the noise of people going up and down was terrible. There is a lift, but it will only take you from the ground floor to the reception, so if you have a suitcase and you are given a room on the third floor, you have to drag it up the stairs, near to where my room was. My room was big enough, with 2 single beds, and a bathroom almost the same side of the room, painted in red! and very dark, even with the light on. The room and bathroom were clean and my linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meat, etc. Unfortunately the reception area was dirty. There are 2 or 3 settees with a material cover, which has not been washed for some time. The location of this hotel is excellent. 15 mns to the Duomo and 30 mns to the Ponte Vecchio. The guys at the reception were very helpful, polite and one of them, on the night shift, (regrettably I did not ask his name) never stopped smiling. Great service. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes but make sure you are giving a room away from the stairs.

Das war ein hervorragendes Hotel! Wir haben eine Upgrade zu einer Junior Suite bei der Ankunft und das Zimmer war großartig! Eines der schönsten Zimmer, die wir je gehabt haben. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und wir kamen zu einer Flasche Champagner, um unseren Geburtstag zu feiern. Carlo, der Konzern, war EXTREMMENT hilfreich - von der Zeichnung von Leitlinien auf der Karte für uns, bis zur Beantwortung aller Fragen, und der Erteilung ausgezeichneter Speiseempfehlungen, bis zur Erstellung von zeitlichen Reservierungen auf Anfrage. HINWEIS: Das Restaurant direkt hinter dem Hotel war das Beste von weitem! Mein einziger Kon war ich zu verlassen!!! Ich werde nach Florenz zurückkommen, und wenn wir das tun, werden wir definitiv hier bleiben!

Really nice and helpful staff. When I got to the room, I was a little negative as felt a little worn for the price I paid, but when I woke up, with the nice high ceilings, and the artistic vibe, and the warm coloured sunlight coming through the big tall window I felt good and happy. I liked the natural feeling, and the shower room felt... Authentic .Probably not what you want if you are looking for a posh place, but if you can afford it, and looking for a cool place, it's great! I'd strongly suggest getting some wine and nice ham and cheese and sit out on the terrace in the evening, (especially if you have a friend!) - that's what you are paying for! I could charge my phone by my bed, but just had to reach down a bit to unplug a side light. I didn't have time for breakfast, but the breakfast area also looked good with a nice Mediterranean vibe.

I loved this quirky old hotel. It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

Nur erstaunlich. Einchecken war im Hotel Villa Royal, und wir wurden nur eine Ecke entfernt begleitet, zu unserem Unterkünften. Es ist ein großer Palast. und unser Zimmer war auf dem grounger Stock, nur 4 Treppen vom Erdgeschoss. Alles wurde uns erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel, sauber und sehr ruhig. Die Lage war in Piazza Indipendenza, 10 Minuten von der SM Novella Station. und 5 Minuten vom Mercato. Innerhalb des Bereichs gibt es auch ein paar Restaurants und Bars, so dass, wenn Sie nicht in das historische Zentrum gehen wollen, können Sie einfach in der Gegend essen. Am Morgen der checkout, haben wir unsere Gepäck im Hotel verlassen und sie später aufholt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich würde es definitiv wieder besuchen und empfehlen.
