The Valley Hotel & Carriage Gardens

The staff were very friendly, bar area was lovely and food was very tasty. Definitely would recommend. Passed this place many times and this was our first time, definitely will be back. Lovely place on the main street with easy parking and easy access

This was our third stay here. We arrived around four & went to our room a suite? Which was a room with a large bed and mood lighting with a bath & shower. The room was very warm & we had to open the window to cool down The pillows where very hard too which led to a disturbed nights sleep due to the noise. We went out for the day on the second day & returned for our dinner in the hotel restaurant. For our Anniversary. This was where it all went wrong. I ordered a gluten free chicken burger which was totally raw. So sent it back. The manager spoke to me about ten minutes later and apoligised about the buger which was rank!! We where given a £30 food voucher upon arrival with our stay which we didnt use as the meal was then not charged for. We asked on check out could we use the voucher & the receptionist said it was for food but took it off our bill anyway. We thought that a good will gesture other than the meal i did not recieve would have been made by the manager but it wasn't. So we will never return to this hotel again and we are very dissapointed in the service we received.

Lovely weekend here for my birthday lovely hotel really friendly staff and excellent food we will be back again in the future nice clean rooms and staff couldn't be nicer. Beautiful cocktails great pints stayed for 2 nights and it was great value for money

I can't believe the price of this hotel in comparison with the quality of the hotel and service we received. It's a Beautiful hotel with the friendliest and most professional staff. Food was 5 star. Breakfast was unbelievable. Proper coffee in your room a big bonus. I can't wait to stay again.

We took our family for the Christmas experience 6 adults 2 kids 2 babies and it was fabulous. The food was lovely the atmosphere was fantastic and Greg and his team were as always happy helpful and welcoming. The children had plenty to occupy them with face painting and a visit to Santa. So very well organised and very family focused. Thanks guys we'll be back next year.

My wife & stayed here for the weekend. We wish to thank all the staff for making our stay a truly memorable one. Our room was a delight, could not fault it at all. We dined in the Loco Bar & Grill, food & drink was delicious and so relaxing. Breakfast again so tasty and staff very helpful. A fantastic stay here so much so that we are planning a longer stay here in the New Year. Thank you so much.
