Great Pub we booked at a last minute just to get away we was welcomed and shown to our room which was spotlessly clean we had a Excellent time here we had a long weekend here and tried the food which was really enjoyable there is a carpark at the rear and are very close to the ferry port will be booking again fantastic

Friendly staff , and very helpful with letting us come to breakfast early As our ferry was due out at 9am. The room was perfect no frills. very spacious Comfy bed couldn't really ask for more. It was what we wanted And did the job for a night. Food at the rose and crown was lovely. Very few places you go to know when the menu has more than one dish that appeals.

We never got further than the room which was awful. We left after 20 minutes! Terrible mattress that squished to nothing and you could feel every spring. The bathroom that only had a bath that you would have to crawl in and out of because it was in the eves also had a dripping tap that I tried to turn off but couldn't as it just swivelled round. The carpet needs to be consigned to a skip! The whole room needed to be redecorated. In fairness to the member of staff on duty he did offer to see if they had another room. But if our room was deemed to be acceptable I can't imagine others were significantly better.

Just had a very enjoyable stay here at the R&C, parking ideal, checked in at the restaurant bar, all very smooth and a pleasant welcome Room perfectly adequate, clean and spacious I had a great nights sleep which to me is the most important thing Breakfast was delicious!.. and set me up for the day! Couple areas like stairs and hallways need a freshen up, but other than that ideal!

We booked here for a few nights break as we haven't been away for a while & from the photos it looks quite presentable. When we arrived, we went into the wrong door as it's apparently two buildings in one, but no signage to say so... We were shown to our room by a lovely young lady & left to get on with our stay. However, the first thing we always do is a room inspection! The sheet & pillow cases were stained & there were black hairs in the bed 🤮. Next, the blind was broken & as my husband said, downright dangerous if a child happened to be in the room. The en suite was really grotty & dirty & the ceiling was covered in black mould. The carpet also looked & felt like it hadn't been vacuumed. It was so bad that we went straight downstairs & asked for our money back. For some reason, the card machine that had just accepted my payment was now refusing to refund it. I had to wait for the owner to refund me from his bank account which I was promised he would do immediately after checking the room. Over an hour and a half later, I had to call them back & ask what was happening about my refund to be told that it was being sorted. I let them know I was NOT happy at having been kept waiting so long & either they paid it or I would be contacting my bank. About three minutes later, the young lady called to say that the refund had been processed & could I check that it was in my account. Which it was. All in all, an experience I do not wish to repeat - we'd paid for a day's parking for that debacle too because parking isn't included!

The Rose and Crown was well-located for walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path When we arrived, we had not been allocated a twin room as booked, however one of the members of staff sorted this out for us. The main issue we had was no hot water, either in the evening or the next morning, and we were on a schedule so unable to see if this could be fixed. We were promised contact from the manager regarding this, but never received any unfortunately. Finally, the rooms were quite noisy as above the bar, meaning that not only had we been unable to shower, but we also struggled to sleep. Very disappointed.
