A very nice last minute find! The hosts were very gracious and made us a wonderful gluten free breakfast. Would be happy to stay there again! The room was comfortable and clean. The farm setting is very serene complete with chickens free ranging. Overall a great place to get out of the city for a bit.

We stumbled upon this bed and breakfast and could not have asked for a more beautiful and timeless experience. Tom and Denise were so kind and welcoming. We spent four nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy. The breakfasts were amazing. The furniture and decor did not disappoint! I can't say enough about The Destination. Be sure to go to the Vintage Market and get a jar of Apple Butter. It is delicious. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful Bed and Breakfast. Tom and Denise were wonderful hosts, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the conversation with Tom and Denise was delightful. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to return for another visit.

From our reservation to leaving town we felt like old friends. The owners were wonderful, food was excellent, the accommodations perfect. Quiet getaway, 10 minutes from town, rural setting, no traffic. Relaxing sunset, sunrise and scenery every direction. Porch sitting with coffee and snacks was a bonus!

There is not a single detractor to mention regarding our two-night stay. Denise and Tom are great hosts and perform magic in the kitchen. Authentic, kind people. The house, grounds, everything is meticulously kept. We plan to return in the Spring with our motorcycles to enjoy the country roads that surround the area. Highly recommended.

Tom and Denise’s place is the the perfect example of country charm, comfort, hospitality and elegance. And Leslie’s breakfasts are amazing. About 5 miles East of Salem, it combines convenience and peace and quiet of being “out in the country”. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a large, private bath, TV, WiFi, sofa and a very comfortable queen-size bed. The first morning Leslie fixed an amazing breakfast that included an egg soufflé, a yogurt and fresh fruit parfait, 2 fresh blueberry muffins and orange juice. And before I left for the day, Leslie asked what I wanted for breakfast the next morning (2 sausage, egg and cheese biscuits, juice and milk). YUM!! All of this plus a price that was actually a few dollars cheaper than a sterile room in the local hotel chain. There’s absolutely no question where I’ll stay on my next visit to Salem!!
