Domaine de Peretti Della Rocca

We had dinner at Spartera, the table d'été of the Domaine. The setting was gorgeous and merits the highest marks, it was wonderful to eat watching a lovely sunset over the vineyard. The cuisine sadly confirmed - and it was my fifth trip to the island - there is not a single place where you can have decent meal in the whole of Corsica. And of course it was completely overpriced. Service was very poor, with the usual susceptibility so typical of the locals. Food was bland, poorly cooked, appallingly presented - some of it barely edible. And don't even think of criticising anything as you may well run into trouble, the locals are so sensitive you would hardly believe you are the customer. This actually easily explains why Corsica must be the worse place for food in the whole Mediterranean: since the locals don't accept criticism, they never improve. It is a bit like the local charcuterie which they insist on serving with skin or rind attached and in the thickest possible cuts - inedible to all civilised humans except probably the proudest Corsican shepherds but…. you are supposed to love it! Since it is, after all, a vineyard I can say we tried a few wines on offer and would pick Jules as the ok wine from the estate. Nothing to write home about. Certainly not worth the detour. To summarise: setting 9/10, service 2/10, cuisine 2/10, value for money appalling - absurdly overpriced. A place ideal for stopover glass of water.

Tout y est agréable et confortable, le restaurant, le bar, le salon, les piscines et le confort chic et simple des bergeries Le patron Jean Baptiste réputé, du Nord au Sud de la Corse, pour sa gentillesse, prend soin de chaque convive Les employés sont à l’image du boss De plus, je suis sûre que la privatisation des lieux pour un événement exceptionnel enchanterait vos invités Nous y reviendrons certainement avec plaisir d’autant que l’accès avec l’aéroport proche est vraiment pratique pour passer un week end dépaysant Quant à la vigne … son vin est excellent

Hotel di una bellezza stratosferica. Potresti stare seduto a guardare le vigne per ore. Merita il viaggio sicuramente per la bellezza dei luoghi ed il gusto negli arredi. Le camere sono molto belle ed ampie. Note negative: l ristorante non è all'altezza del luogo, la cena è stata mediocre, inoltre la colazione, in un albergo di quella categoria e costo, dovrebbe essere inclusa (peraltro il prezzo della colazione è veramente alto per quanto viene offerto). Un vero peccato, altrimenti sarebbe un posto perfetto. Per il resto nulla da dire.

Super séjour accueil et convivialité tout était au rendez-vous. Très bon restaurant avec une belle carte des vins du domaine. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables . Les petits déjeuner bien garnis et de qualités Une parenthèse de tranquillité au milieu des vignes c’était génial . Merci

Yemekleri ve saraplari cok iyi. Korsika tatilimde en memnun kaldigim aksam yemeklerinden biriydi. Calisanlari ***et kibarlar. Bag manzarali güzel bir terasta esinizle, ailenizle güzel zaman gecirebileceginiz, mutlaka gidilmesi gereken bir üzüm bagi/restaurant.
