The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything. It was worth every dollar. Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel. And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious. The library is a cozy place to eat breakfast and read or have a quiet moment to yourself. and the grounds are beautifully kept. We also went during their shoulder season so it was quieter - not sure what summer might be like there I hope to definitely go back there.

From the moment we arrived, Il Salviatino exceeded every expectation. This historic property is breathtaking in its own right, but what truly elevates the experience is the people who bring it to life. Paul on reception is an absolute credit to the hotel. He went above and beyond to help me organise a series of surprises for my fiancée's birthday, treating every detail with the kind of care you'd expect from a close friend rather than a hotel staff member. His warmth, attentiveness and genuine desire to make the celebration unforgettable made all the difference. The spa was another highlight. Laura was incredible, and our massage was easily one of the best we've ever had. The spa itself completely blew us away. It's a sanctuary in every sense of the word. What sets Il Salviatino apart is the consistent feeling that the staff genuinely cannot do enough for you. Every interaction, every gesture, every small touch added up to something extraordinary. The history of the place is palpable, but it's the quality of its people that makes it unforgettable. We honestly couldn't imagine staying at a more magical place, so much so that we're already planning to return for our honeymoon. Thank you to Paul, Laura and the entire team. You've created memories we'll treasure forever.

We were there in April 2025. The service was beyond excellent, the hotel and grounds were breathtaking, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend staying there and we will be back soon.

The place is absolutely beautiful, down to every single detail. Breakfast on the terrace is unbelievable and the rooms are lovely. The staff are also incredible - in particular Klaudja who went out of her way to make our week special. We will be back
