We stayed for 3 nights , from the moment we were dropped off and met by one of the team who transported our luggage , to our first glimpse through the door and seeing the inner courtyard for the first time. We knew we had arrived someone special. The welcome by Houda and Mohamid was warm and heartfelt. We were shown around the riad and then taken to our suite. It was as just stunning ! The suite was simply gorgeous and was so homely and the balcony I could just sit on all day! We really did pinch ourselves to think we had found the Mayfez! We stayed half board and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Everything full of flavour. Nothing was too much trouble . We arranged a tour with a local guide who was so easy to spend a day with and who was full of so much knowledge . Actually 40 years of knowledge! We felt like we were staying with family and didn’t want to leave . This really is a special place to call home whilst travelling and the whole team is a real asset. I really can’t wait to visit again one day and enjoy another fantastic stay and wander Fez again. Keep up the amazing work, the Mayfez deserves every success! Book and enjoy !!

A most glorious, luxury, calm and friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. There is nothing to fault at this Rihad, first impressions were impressive, the public rooms ouze luxury, style and warmth. The suite I was in was absolutely stunning, a most comfortable bed with exceptional quality bedding. The bathroom was an absolute joy, a roll top bath which I like on holiday. The lighting was well done, the balcony was truly unique with views to die for. You really do feel you are staying in somewhere very special, in fact it is magical and you feel so happy knowing you picked this place to stay We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Mayfez. The food is fresh, original and very tasty. The most important thing which sets this hotel above anywhere else I have stayed is the hospitality of the team. Houda manages the Rihad with true professionalism and makes her guests truly feel at home. Her assistant Mohamid attention to detail and customer service is astonishing. Both of these peoples genuine care to their guests goes beyond and above anywhere I have stayed before. We stayed for 3 nights but wish we had booked for more but had to continue our tour of Morroco . The city of Fes is full of interesting history and lovely architecture. We booked a tour with the guide for a whole day which meant we were able to get round so much. I absolutely love what Fes has to offer, and the knowledge that we were going home to the Mayfes most comforting. Well done Houda on what you and your team have achieved at the Mayfes, you are shining stars and deserve every success and prosperity.

What a magical place that will make you feel at home. I travel a lot and Mayfez showed me a new way to travel. I first stayed here as somewhere to just rest. Mayfez should actually have been our destination! The team - Houda, Mohammed, Driss, and Rachid - are so dedicated, kind, and wonderful. They pay close attention to every detail during our stay: making sure all legs of our transportation are well planned, activities are smoothly coordinated, food are excellent, rooms are very comfortable. If there is any room for the team to go above and beyond, there is no hesitation that they will jump on the opportunity to offer assistance. They are a quick WhatsApp chat away. Mayfez is a true riad. Images will not do justice to this sublime wonder. When you walk around the property, you will discover endless treasures.

So much of what has been said in these reviews, echo our experience. The customer service provided by the staff was top notch! Mohammed and Imad greeted us upon our arrival with the warmest welcome! Over the next 3 days they truly became friends, who we enjoyed visiting with each day. We are so grateful to have enjoyed learning about the Moroccan culture, through listening to their insightful stories and lived experiences. As well, Houda always went above and beyond to ensure a superb stay...which it was! Clearly, her leadership sets the stage for running the day to day operations of this 5- Star Riad! The view from the Mayfez gorgeous and expansive roof top garden/courtyard provided the setting for beautiful sunsets and unparalleled 360 degree views of the Fez-- an awe inspiring view, which we quickly became obsessed with, as you can see from some of our photos. We recommend that anyone traveling to Fez, be sure to book your stay at this Riad. It is a place that we will never forget. Mayfez is not to be missed!

We spent 4 nights at the Riad Mayfez and were truly impressed by the property and the great staff. Tucked away behind high walls, the property is much larger than anticipated, it has a good amount of open space between the various buildings. For us, this was a great plus compared to other Fez riads which, as beautiful as they may be, don’t offer much open space outside the rooms. Manager Houda and her team made our stay very enjoyable, including setting up our private table for breakfast poolside every morning, remembering our preferred menu choices, helping with dinner reservations etc. Our Harar suite was spacious, beautifully designed with a nice view over the pool and courtyard. Would go back anytime!

This Riad was absolutely beautiful - it was a sanctuary we loved coming back to after our adventures in Fes each day. The suite was very spacious and had its own private deck where we could relax each evening watching the sun set. The staff were really attentive and kind, always ensuring they checked in with us and made sure our stay was perfect.

We had a fabulous time here. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful accommodation. Houda is amazing and went above and beyond to help us. The hotel is wonderful, clean and comfortable. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

I concur with the other reviews, the staff is accommodating and exceptional, going out of their way to be sure every need and detail is met. Mohammed, Houda and all are so welcoming and kind. ...Riad Mayfez! You have to experience this fantastic guest services performed by Houdda, Mohammed and their whole team. Everything was organized to perfection from airport transfer, room preparation, App/ Map dowload/ directions, breakfast, cleaning, guided tour, etc. We really felt like royals in this lovely Riad environment. The Riad itself is very spacious, taking into consideration that only 7 rooms (and not more :-) are available. Each of them felt also more like an own Riad, giving their sizes and comfort. Roof terraces from 3 different areas of the Riad provide spectacular views of the Medina, all equipped with cosy lounge chairs. The lovely courtyard with nice pool and comfy sunbeds was also very relaxing after a busy Medina walk, which can get stressful sometimes. Breakfast selection is really satisfying too, but some cheese or kefte? would complete the offer. Can't really judge the Hamam or Massages as we did not book them. A litle gymn (no treadmill!) is also on-site. Only „real“ recommendation is to have a plumber check rather sooner than later, as some of the drains/ congestions were blocked during our stay. However, if you want to have the „real“ royal Medina treatment, book Riad Mayfez and you will not regret it.

Luxurious oasis in the bustling Medina of Fez , still quite original and not as touristic as Marrakech. Great for trips to the holy town of Moulay Idriss, the Royal town of Meknes (with a pretty golf course next to the Royal Palace downtown) and the important ruins of Voloubilis. Mme Dominique and her staff are very welcoming, we had the entire Riad for ourselves and dinner there every night which was very good. One could probably spend all day on a warm sunny day in the Riad´s courtyard with swimming pool and comfortable lounge beds. Some rooms are very large, others a bit dark (ground floor) . Considering the luxurious surroundings and the very friendly service, one would expect to be greeted with complimentary tea and hot towels when returning from an excursion. Mme Dominique arranged our entire trip with transport, guides and restaurant reservations for lunch all of which were good and authentic.

My stay at Mayfez Road in Fes, Morocco, was nothing short of exceptional. The outstanding staff provided unparalleled hospitality, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were not only amazing but also meticulously maintained. Everything about my experience was perfect, and I highly recommend Mayfez Riad for a truly remarkable stay in Fes. Where should I begin… we had an absolutely amazing experience at Mayfez. Ms.Houda and Mohammed made sure we were more than well taken care of. We were so spoiled by the cozy Riad living style. From the welcome tea and pastry, to the spacious rooms, to the lovely patio, to the cozy dining room, to the hearty breakfast. to every little detail. This was the best stay for our Morocco trip! We would definitely stay here if we ever visit Fes again. If you are reading this review, look no further. You will not regret it!

The grounds here are amazing and so is the food. They are so very accommodating too, helping us get to and from our taxi as well as the restaurant we ate at, since it's so easy to get lost in Fez. Mohammed and Otaman were excellent and constantly helpful, trying their best to make us fee at home. Our room was very nice with a hot tub and a dressing room. We had an AMAZING tour with Abdul, who is basically Mr. Fes. He took us all over the city and provided us with incredible knowledge about the history and customs of Fes. If you get a tour with him, make sure you ask to go to the secret tea spot! We would have never seen 1/8 of what we saw without him and we were safe the whole time, never felt in danger at all, never felt lost, people on the street were stopping to hug him and tell us how great he was. If we come back to Morocco, we will definitely stay here again and also see some more with Abdul.
