They boast 5* and it probably was many years ago. You can tell from the reception rooms it was obviously somewhere really special in its day. However the rooms are a let down. Old tired furniture, poorly maintained items, no safe boxes (apparently some rooms had them but you could lift them up!), air con poor.... with some good maintenance they could make the rooms so much better. Buffet style food.... salads in the evening were good but very little choice in the way of hot dishes. Breakfast also not much choice and the egg station was not open at all during my two mornings.

WARNING ALL TRAVELLERS *********************** I would like to seriously warn all travellers to Fes before booking this hotel. We have just returned from a trip staying in this hotel and me and my wife, who have visited Morocco many times, and infact are very frequent travellers, are deeply shocked at our experience at this hotel. The staff is unbelievably agressive, my wife was physically attacked by one staff, the next day the so called 'manager' was shouting at her for apparantly not having paid for something, which she had of course and all was clarified. but no apology, nothing. next day we caught one member of staff stealing something that belonged to us, first he pretended he didnt and only after pursuing very strongly, he handed it back. things like this kept happening and we were very close to involving the police by the end, which however we also know in morocco would have been no help. But yes - women especially BE AWARE of staying in this hotel - the male staff here have a very serious problem with treating women respectful. Out ot travelling in over 150 countries this is easily the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

Pretty good hotel. The hotel is very luxurious at entry. There are pretty chandeliers and nice Moroccan rugs. The hotel is nice. It was the food that made me drop a star. The food was terrible. Cats were roaming the bottom floor which was very interesting. The pool area was nice and during the night, there was a dj. My room was very nice and other than the food, I have no complaints. I recommend!

One of the most impressive hotel entrances I have ever seen. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from there. Air conditioning almost non existent in dining rooms. Changed rooms due to air con not working in assigned room. No safe, no pool towels provided, toilets do not flush properly, no bottled water in room. Any drinks bought have to be paid immediately - can’t put on room. Breakfast was very basic. Hotel is also a long way from town centre and one couple ordered a taxi which never came. We travelled in a group of 10 and we were all so happy to leave this place after 2nights!

We sat around and relaxed in the gardens near the pool. Big, comfy chairs in the lounges. Plenty of space. Rooms not fancy, but we had a good experience there. No safe in room for valuables. Location was further out of town than we expected. Tip – walk the Medina

Avoid at all costs. Shower and toilets doesn’t work. Staff are trying to be helpful but can’t do anything because no maintenance has been done. Hotel reception and Gardens look magnificent. But the rooms are terrible

The hotel looks nice ans perky and staff courteous and polite. But... We are a married couple. We received a room with separate un attachable beds. No kettle and no coffee/tea amenities in the room. Bath accessories minimal. Dinner and breakfast buffet rather basic but tasty. On second day we returned to the room to find a lack of towels. Upon request to supply towels, a worker came to confirm the lack of towels. Only then, and after 3 calls to reception in 1 hour, the towels appeared. It's a nice hotel, very impressive and appealing but 5 stars requires 5 star service.

This hotel certainly has the air of class, However, we we were deeply disappointed. The first room was two single beds, tiny with a broken bath and with a view to the rubbish bins. We requested a change and were told the hotel was full. When we went to complain they suddenly and magically found us another !!! The second had a double bed but we didn't sleep a wink because the air con was so noisy all night☹️ Again we requested change. The third room was large, looked lovely with a double bed and balcony, sadly it stunk of stale smoke🤦♀️. Three sets of our friends were bitten to pieces in their rooms by fleas 😳🤷♀️ The food was mediocre to put it lightly. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Un desastre de hotel el bufet muy pobre , no tiene nada de 5 estrellas , solo es fachada una bonita recepción y muy amables , en España sería de 2 estrellas. Esperaba más de este hotel, en Marrakech son mejores hoteles. He quedado muy decepcionado
