The hotel is great with an awesome pool and friendly staff. Fatima is awesome! Everyone made us feel so welcome. The town by the river is lovely with a nice beach!

Great stay, nice staff! Walkable to gorgeous beaches and the town of Portimaõ. Comfy beds, clean apartments. Could do with a bit more shelving in the bathroom (even a small chair under the sink would do) and some hooks here and there, but otherwise perfect.

What a fantastic place, so clean, staff friendly and apartment immaculate. Highly recommended.

This is our third stay at Vitor’s Village. It’s a fantastic place. Spotlessly clean. We love coming here.

Niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn (heuvelachtig terrein). Ferragudo is nog een authentiek dorp. Ontbijt: dikke voldoende.

Wir fanden die Hotelanlage wunderschön und gepflegt. Vitor's liegt nicht weit von der Altstadt entfernt, auch zum schönen Strand Praia Grande ist es nicht weit. Unsere Zimmer waren sehr groß, hell und ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile ist aber minimal. Es gibt Teller, Tassen, Gläser Bestecke, aber keine Kochutensilien wie z.B. Töpfe. Verwundert waren wir, daß unseren Freunden, die ein Premium Apartment gebucht hatten, Badetücher verweigert wurden, nicht aber dem Rest der Truppe, der die billigeren Junior Suites gebucht hatte. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Besonders loben wollen wir das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet und das à la carte Abendessen (sehr gutes Preis- Leistungs-Verhältnis). Alles in Allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und kommen gern wieder!

My family and I had an incredible stay at Vitors Village! We stayed in the deluxe suite, which featured a spacious outdoor balcony and a hot tub—perfect for relaxing during the cooler evenings. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. They even have an indoor and outdoor play area for little ones. Breakfast was decent but repetitive, which did get a bit tiresome by the end of our stay. We rented a car to explore the Algarve, and it was the best decision! We discovered some of the most amazing food in the charming little towns. I'd highly recommend visiting Faro and Loulé—they were absolutely stunning!

Beautiful pool area and gardens. Everywhere is very clean and well maintained. Our room had a large sitting room/dining kitchen, separate large bedroom and bathroom. We had a decent view of the river and lower swimming pool even though we didn't pay extra for a river view. Nice large balcony. The room was cleaned every day. I found the mattress very hard so I asked at reception if it was possible to have a bed topper. When we came back that evening the bed had a topper on it which made a difference. We found all of the staff except one to be very friendly. The main guy running the bar always looked angry. The bar service was very slow. Even if there were three or four staff in the bar area it appeared that no one else was allowed to serve to help reduce the queue. Check in was very quick and the receptionist was lovely. We walked to Lidl to get provisions it's only about 10-15 mins walk. There is also a new supermarket next to Lidl that has a nice cafe and we bought hot fresh cooked chicken here (I think it's called Commercial) and also further along the road there is a lovely bakery just after Lidl. This also has a nice cafe. We used Uber for the return trip and it was only about 4 euros. Ferragudo has a lovely beach with a couple of lovely restaurants. Sunbed and parasol hire on the beach cost us 20 euro for two sunbeds for the whole day

As others have stated this place is fabulous, other than a very short steep hill to the lovely village of Ferragudo. We had a one bedroom apartment which was large, with a well equipped kitchen ( no conventional oven). During our 7 night stay, we ate out on 4 occasions, Uber Eats one night, and meals prepared at the apt on the other 2 nights( an ideal mix for just the 2 of us). Everywhere was spotlessly clean, with housekeeping going a great job every day too. Plenty of sun loungers available, as long as you aren’t particular for any spot. My only small gripe is that as a 4* Establishment, beach towels were not available to borrow/rent, which for us travelling on ‘ a carry on luggage’ basis was a nuisance. Other than this would definitely return to Vitors and to this lovely relatively unspoiled area. It is not an area for anyone looking for a lively upbeat nightlife type holiday….perfect for families imo

Hi, this is my 2nd review on vitors village and I thought the place was great when I visited in March 2022. It was a nice surprise to see an open plan newly refurbished restaurant and conservatory which we used more this time as it seemed more like a 5* experience .. we have booked for March 2025 this time and upgraded to a suite so really looking forward to coming .. the staff always make it a great holiday .. thank you Vitors look forward to seeing you in 2025 : ) Only downside to ferragudo is one of the best restaurants has closed permanently : ( - ferragood but plenty of others to choose from.

Expected a bit more from this holiday...it wasn't quite what was advertised. This was a family trip...with teens in tow..we stayed on self catering basis. On arrival our room wasn't quite ready so we headed to the restaurant for lunch...food was hit and miss... expensive for what we ordered. Checked into apartments...spacious...clean...and couldn't complain. Cleaning staff brilliant..rooms cleaned daily. Don't bother with the mini market....not sure why it was still open...hardly anything in... but lidl a 20 min walk so no problem. Pool freezing but very clean. There was no indoor pool like we had read about which would have been a great asset to our holiday...as weather not so good. The hotel did not cater for families..not enough to do...it was just like a holiday rental not a hotel. There was no entertainment... nothing to do. Ferragudo nice enough... but many restaurants were closed... or closed on different evenings. Ferragudo a bit underwhelming...run down.. graffiti everywhere but some parts had charm. Trying to get a morning coffee in the restaurant was not so good...because we were not booked in for meals it felt like we were an inconvenience. No table service...had to order in the restaurant and pay there an then.. Thank God we could get Ubers to travel to other areas... Praia de Rocher was lovely. To sum things up...our stay was pleasant... this hotel or area is not somewhere I would want to revisit. Please note dont book if you have mobility issues...on the top of a hill!

We have just returned from a short break at Vitors Village. This review is not straightforward. Yes there are some improvements we feel would improve our experience but mostly it was our ignorance of both Vitors Village and the Ferragudo which were to blame. Firstly I believe the web site was confusing . We thought the facilities advertised were to be found at both sites so we were disappointed to find there was no indoor pool at Vitors Village. The facility is 5 blocks of very nice flats . They would be good enough to be main residence but we felt we had booked an Airbnb. There was little or no support from the reception other than to point out where you accommodation was and that was it you got on with it yourself.Both of us are getting on and have poor mobility but there was no help to get your luggage up 2 flights of stairs...it near killed me. The whole site is full of cobbled slopes. A very positive plus is that everywhere was very clean. The on site shop is very poorly stocked but now I realise it was due to the end of the season and imminent closure for winter.We used uber to get to the village and other sights. Cheap and reliable. We are sorry we arranged for transfers through the travel company now when we could have used Uber for a fraction of the price. Ferragudo isn't that great either. Everything really just centres around a square of restaurants. We tried three of them and they were great but there's not much else there.

We visited as a couple for 8 days at the start of October and we loved every minute of it. We arrived 3/4 hours before check in time but our apartment was ready, the gentleman on reception was friendly and helpful. On walking into the apartment we were very pleasantly surprised by the size and facilities. Our room had a fantastic view of the river over to Portimão (101a Pernalta) with a huge balcony and a smaller Juliette balcony. Large living space with a bright kitchen/ dining area, comfortable bedroom and well equipped bathroom. Air conditioning could be individually controlled for the bedroom and living areas which was great. The whole complex is beautifully landscaped and cared for, gorgeous pool area and rooftop area with an amazing view. We had breakfast every morning which had a good selection of hot and cold food, juices / hot drinks. Food in the bar at lunchtime was tasty and reasonable. We had dinner in the Purple restaurant once and it was absolutely beautiful, fish soup in particular. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. The cleaning team did an amazing job, apartment was spotless as was the whole resort. It was a short but steep walk to Ferragudo village and about 15/20 minutes to a large supermarket and the train station. We will absolutely be back for another stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vitor’s Village. The only thing I would say is it isn’t particularly suitable for anyone with mobility issues as the whole of Ferragudo is very steep and hilly with lots of steps. If you enjoy walking the beach and cliffs are stunning and the town is so pretty with lots of lovely restaurants and some nice little shops. It’s cheap and easy to Uber if you don’t have a car, we got the train to Faro and Silves, well worth a visit. We were sorry to leave at the end of the holiday, will miss the beautiful sunsets.

We had the most fabulous stay. Easy check in, 27th Sep, we were greeted by a beautiful lady who told us check in was 3pm, but she will check as our room was possibly ready within the hour, so we popped for a drink at the bar in the sun! Sure enough when we returned to reception our room was ready. We were absolutely overjoyed when we saw our room, and really could not have been happier! It was spotless, and cleaned to the highest detail every day. The cleaners were always happy and smiling. The breakfast was of good quality, and the staff in the restaurant always had a smile, and kept the restaurant to the highest standard. Always efficient, even when it was busy. The pool area fantastic. There are 2 pools, and a raised area which we favoured for our duration. We had an early pick up on the day of our departure, and we ordered a little pack up. We were late requesting, but the lovely man on reception happily arranged it for us. We go to Portugal every year, and have done for many years now, first time staying in Ferragudo, and will not be the last. We really cannot wait to return to Vitors Village. A huge thank you to everyone, you made our holiday, and you are all amazing.
