Comfort Inn Ogden Near Event Center

It got two stars because the air conditioner works. Shower was dirty and didn’t drain. Sink would not drain. Old and dirty. Parking lot is bad. Pool was dirty. Lessons learned.

Selected this hotel because of the spa. It was out of order. Rented an overpriced room with a sleeper sofa which had no bedding, had to go get it from the front desk. Easy on/off the freeway. Great Mexican restaurant nearby (as well as many fast food options).

Found someone’s wash cloth and soap in the bathtub. Coffee maker was in the bathroom. Floor wasn’t Vacuumed. Bed was comfy.

Wasn't able to get room service until the 4th day, It was promised on the 3rd day. Tried to checkout a day early (was at the counter at 11 am) and one staff member said they couldn't provide any refund and suggested we stay another day, at that point we didn't check out; later that day we came back and requested checkout and the other staff member said if we had come in before 3 pm we could have gotten a refund - we told her that we did come in earlier and that information didn't help, she just said sorry.

Main curtain in room didn't work hair dryer didn't work hot tub didn't work.Wifi was nor very good. They need to upgrade their TVs.

Outside looked decent! Lobby was alright, staff was very helpful. Pool was murky, hot tub was closed for repairs, elevator was dirty, room was also dirty. Mirror in the bathroom was dirty, so was the toilet. Tub didnt drain, microwave and lamp switches and front door had not been cleaned and had drips and greasy fingerprints on them. Dark unknown drips on the wall. Brown stuff (not a stain) on the white comforter. I booked 3 nights, would have left the first night if I had a choice. We left the next morning after getting new linens to sleep in. Would have expected this for a 80/night rate hotel.

Great location and clean and nice. Furniture is aging a little and breafast is not much and it closes early.

I was disappointed the moment I walked into the lobby. Dirty carpets and a slight smell. The room was very dated and worn. Everything needs to be updated. The only thing that felt clean was the bed, thank goodness! It was also quiet. This is very overpriced for what you get. Also stay clear of the Mexican Restaurant across the parking lot. Nice people, cute place but the food is disappointing and overpriced.

Parking was easy. There are many fast food options in the area. The breakfast was adequate and included.
