Such a shame there isn't a robust refurb plan across the PI estate. So many of their hotels now are starting to look really tired. This is short-termist and I am starting to look elsewhere for rooms. This hotel is a perfect example of this with tired carpets, battered bathrooms and knocks and bumps everywhere. Such a shame they are more money driven than sitisfaction.

The inn itself was ok, pretty much what you expect, no complaints. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had in a premier inn. We had the continental but constantly had to ask for bowls, milk. Yoghurt etc. When I asked fir pan au chocolat to be replenished the waiter went yo ask in the kitchen, came back and said they were out of stock. I know for a fact they are baked on site , I saw the chef look at her watch, clearly didn't want to cook another batch. Finally no orange juice due to "shortages beyond our control" The supermarkets have gallons of the stuff. Very disappointed, a little of people were complaining

Lovely premier inn plus room. Parking easy and secure Staff really nice and easy reach to walk into town and explore the restaurants and pubs. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. In premier inns for the next two nights and hope as good as this one.

The julian was very helpful and understanding, after again my company messed my booking. Would highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly staff. Most comfortable beds and nice and close to my location of work. Always clean and no waiting to be booked in

Nice clean and tidy room, bed and bedding great as expected from Premier Inn. Plenty of parking. Was disappointed with the breakfast offering, limited selection on continental- items not available, and the cooked breakfast was table service rather than the usual buffet style meaning it wasn't easy to just get any more if you wanted that extra rasher of bacon etc. Overall an OK stay, but not quite the usual Premier Inn experience.

Hotel itself was great. Greeted by very friendly, yet professional receptionist and even got a free upgrade to my room. The restaurant however is where it all fell apart. The previous bad reviews are far too generous. It was by far the worst dining experience I have had at a Premier Inn. Despite being the only group in there service was very slow and due to cold plates the food didn't stay warm long. There were several errors with our orders. The serving staff have clearly been let down terribly by management. They have clearly had little training and just been dumped and left to it. They tried their best but it simply wasn't up to standard. Serving freezing cold custard with a warm dessert spoke volumes about the chef's skills. His solution was to microwave the whole thing for longer. As for breakfast... Service was much better but the quality just as lacking sadly. Everything was overly greasy and again barely warm due to being served on cold plates. So to sum up the hotel is great but avoid the restaurant at all costs.
