Courtyard Fargo

Located on the Fargo Medical Center Grounds, near the interstate. The good: Very nice, clean hotel. The rooms have built in furniture and other furniture that have an asymmetric geometric pattern. A cool vibe. There is a small breakfast bar in the morning with Starbucks Coffee and a cocktail bar and some dinner foods in the evening. The staff was very friendly and informative. Very convenient to the interstate if passing through, or to the Sanford Medical Center if you need to visit there. Close to a few restaurants and shopping including Costco The not so good: There is not an included breakfast that would usually be expected in similar hotels. You can buy an included limited breakfast with your booking if you want. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Recently stayed here on a business trip and could not be happier with the experience. Our group had a lot of unique needs for the project we were in town working on, and Misty Blue went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. Will return for sure!

Over the course of nearly two weeks, fluctuating numbers of my immediate family stayed here while my mother was hospitalized at Sanford Medical Center. While the proximity to the hospital made it the logical choice, it was the flexibility of the staff that, in retrospect, made it a wise choice as well. Front desk staff were so kind to help us consolidate rooms, cancel reservations WITHOUT PENALTY for nights that we no longer needed, and just generally get to know us and let us know that they were thinking about us. In particular, Misty Blue gets a huge shout out for being such a kind, caring front desk staff member. She sort of adopted us and asked how things were going, let us know that she was thinking about us, and just generally was a wonderful human being. On a lighter note, the hotel bistro/bar was great for a quick breakfast before heading to the hospital or a nightcap after a stressful day AT the hospital. The beds were comfortable too-including the rollaway cot that I slept on one night.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the NICEST front desk attendant, Jacob. He seriously was a delight - just how he smiled and seemed to enjoy his job genuinely made me see the good in the hotel. Our key didn't work, but by the time I got up to the room with a new key, he was peeking around the corner by the stairs to ensure we were satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable. There was adequate parking, and everything was well-lit.

Misty Blue was the lovely lady at the front desk checking us in. We were in town for a wedding and had a little room mishap but she was able to get us right and in a room. Misty made our stressful moment not so stressful. She treated us with kindness and was understanding. Great Hotel

Small room, Small refrigerator, no microwave, expensive for what you get. I had a great night sleep, but in the morning, I went down to the desk to get a hotcup of coffee. I didn’t see any complementary coffee in the lobby. When I asked the man at the desk about that, he pointed to the Starbucks in the lobby and said “we sell coffee over there.” I said “I’ve never been to a Hotel that did not serve complimentary coffee.” He said that This agreement, was part of their Starbucks contract. And that the population that their business plan was modeled for were people traveling for work and who had their bosses paying for their coffee. Well, I replied I’ll remember that the next time I’m choosing a hotel.“ I won’t be choosing this one again. It’s not that I couldn’t afford my coffee at Starbucks. It’s that this hotel was not designed for me.
