Familienfreundliche Hotels in Addis Ababa

In der Nähe des Flughafens dürfte es das beste Hotel in Addis sein! Das Frühstück ist besonders reichhaltig, mit westlichen, äthiopischen Spezialitäten und sogar einer chinesischen Essensecke. Das Hotel ist groß, wie ein Labyrinth, und auch das Fitnessstudio ist gut, mit neuer und kompletter Ausstattung. Ich werde das nächste Mal hier übernachten!

Auch wenn das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, ist dies noch immer der beste Platz für einen Aufenthalt oder einen beruflichen Anfang in Addis. Hier trifft jeder jeden und das über die vielen Jahre entstandene, einzigartige Ambiente sucht seinesgleichen! Dieses Hotel ist Geschichte! Die große, gepflegte Grünanlage (eine der sehr wenigen in Addis) und der Außenpool lässt einen den Stress der doch sehr herausfordernden Stadt vergessen. Der exakte Service sowie die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter sind einfach wunderbar. Dies sicherlich auch dem Umstand geschuldet, dass dieses Haus durch einen deutschen GM geführt wird. Er und seine Manager sind von früh bis spät allgegenwärtig und kümmern sich direkt um das Wohlergehen des Gastes! Für mich als Expat in Begleitung meiner Frau, der beste Ort um in Addis sein neues Leben zu starten! Herzlichen Dank!

Keines der besten und sichersten Hotels in der Gegend. Das Frühstück ist gut und die Umgebung ist sehr gut.

Very homely people and the staff is really good and very cooperative for foreigners, especially I would like to recommend the service by David David bar supervisor- the bar supervisor and Teddy, okay. Miki is very good person in serving the best cocktails in the world. I enjoyed, and I had a great time as they made me feel at home.

Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht sehr praktisch und die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist nicht wie in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel. Die Kellner sind sehr nett und das Frühstück ist reichhaltig .

I stayed in Hotel Lobelia for a total of 5 nights during 3 separate times in July. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10min drive from Bole international airport, & a free hotel airport shuttle is provided. This was perfect for me as I had to fly in & out of Addis Ababa a couple of times as I traveled around Ethiopia. Besides being close to the airport, the hotel is also very close to many other establishments, such as restaurants, cafes, shops, mall, etc. There is also an ATM just outside the hotel lobby so this was extra convenient. The 3 different rooms I stayed in during my 3 separate stays were all spacious, satisfactory, & clean. The bed was quite comfortable, & the wifi worked well in the room. There was also a separate seating area. A menu for the restaurant, as well as all the services offered by the hotel are also conveniently provided on the desk in the room. The bathrooms are quite small, however, and can use some upgrades, but overall it was fine, and the hot water shower was great. On one of my stays, I did end up getting upgraded to one of the suites, which was a very big room with a very big bathroom. They serve a buffet breakfast which typically included traditional Ethiopian dishes, and sometimes eggs & pancakes, in addition to toast, fruits, juices, coffee, & tea. Besides breakfast, food is available all day at their restaurant, as well as room service. The food at the restaurant is quite good so I did eat here a couple of times. Laundry service was also good – I dropped it off just before 8:30am & got it back just after lunch. They also have luggage storage, which I used to store my big backpack, while I traveled to other parts of Ethiopia with just a small backpack. The overall service is really good here; plus, all the staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the shuttle service, are really nice, friendly, & accommodating. There was always someone to answer any questions and provide any assistance needed, which I really appreciated. This hotel is definitely good value for a short stay in Addis Ababa with easy access to the airport.

This fantastic hotels electric power helped me To complete my tasks with out interruption while i was suffering for a week in another hotel & the front staff was helpfull on giving the best recommendations of good places to visit on my stay at adis Hgofim helped us how to get the uber drivers & they were so hospitable, i was totally happy with hospitality in Ethiopia ...

Ich ging zur Diskussion mit unseren Kollegen am Arbeitsplatz und hatte die Chance, um sich um den Ort zu beobachten. Es ist einer der besten in Addis, wenn nicht der erste. Die Topographie, das Design, das Essen, die allgemeine Anlage und vor allem die Gastfreundschaft, die ich an anderer Stelle nicht erlebt habe!
