Es war sauber, viel besser als ich dachte, aber die Preise der Produkte in den Schränken sollten angegeben werden.

Fair value for money !

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war durchweg positiv. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend – das Zimmer wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt, Wasser und Kaffee wurden regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Man merkt, dass hier auf Details geachtet wird. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Egal zu welcher Uhrzeit, unsere Fragen und Wünsche wurden stets mit einem Lächeln und viel Engagement beantwortet. Auch die Einrichtungen wie Pool, Sauna und Fitnessraum waren sauber und gut gepflegt. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Diese Bereiche schließen bereits um 21 Uhr – etwas längere Öffnungszeiten wären gerade abends wünschenswert. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Der Strand ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso wie das Stadtzentrum und Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die „Geisterstadt“. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es außerdem kleine Supermärkte und Kioske – sehr praktisch. Fazit: Ein sauberes, gut gelegenes Hotel mit tollem Service. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen entspannten und angenehmen Urlaub.

Gut gefallen hat uns das große Zimmer. Vom Platz her war das völlig ausreichend für 2 Personen. Auch das Bad war von der Größe in Ordnung. Am Buffet war eigentlich alles vorhanden was man braucht. Ob zum Frühstück oder Abendessen, es war reichlich und gute Qualität von den angebotenen Speisen. Der Speiseraum war großzügig. An Getränken wurde eine gute Auswahl angeboten allerdings auch sehr teuer im Vergleich zu Bars oder Cafés in der Nähe. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit auch wenn sie nicht immer Antwort zu Allergenen im Essen geben konnten. Von der Lage, praktisch um die Ecke ist eine Hauptstraße wo man alles findet. Was uns nicht ganz so gefallen hat: Die Armaturen im Bad sind wohl doch schon etwas älter. Fazit: Kann man empfehlen.

Highly recommended hotel. One of the best places to visit and stay in the area. Very convenient location, almost heart of the city. Exceptionally clean, great food , lovely and cosy rooms, plenty of facilities, fast internet and much more… Hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. This hotel has met my expectations!! Will definitely come back for more stay !!! Good value for money!!! Highly recommended!!!

Great hotel. The rooms and hotel are very clean. The meals are hot, delicious, varied and renewed. Desserts taste excellent and varied and the drinks are different and delicious.. We recommend it

This is an excellent hotel, and we were truly delighted with our stay here. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, the staff were warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made us feel genuinely welcomed. The location was also very convenient, allowing us to reach nearby attractions with ease. We would happily choose this hotel again for our future visits.

Dreadful - AVOID. Rough around the edges, definitely not 4 star. 3 at best. Room keys didn’t work (twice) inc first time trying to use after checking in. Dark corridors, mattresses in stairwells, holes in walls, just awful. Rooms were fairly spacious and were ok. But that’s it. Windows scruffy, thin towels, staff were unhelpful. Good was shocking. Terrible breakfast. No meat option such as sausage. Just boiled eggs and pancakes. Charged us for water at breakfast!

When booking the hotel the pictures were what drew us to stay here, think the pictures were from when they first opened because it was nice but a bit run down. When we got there, a lovely lady checked us in, we went to our room, very basic, stained duvet cover, broken shower which ran hot and cold , the smoke detector situated directly above the bed, flashed green all night long, states a no smoking policy but was given an ashtray and matches ?? And the hotel itself smelt like stale smoke. All the lampshades inside the room were stained, the air conditioning unit was a struggle to work.. The spa itself is small, cute but small, luckily we were the only ones there.. with the gym down there pumping out loud dance music despite no one actually being in the gym as well as the laundry door being open with people chattering it was quite hard to relax. The slippers given were very cheap and I slipped in the changing rooms of the spa and hurt my leg on the bench. The reception staff of the evening and the morning checking out were rude.. There was no "hope you enjoyed your stay" I don't think I will return..

We have stayed here a couple of times now and everyone has always been really helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Famagusta area . Special mention to Necati who was really friendly and helpful .

Did not enjoy my stay! We had a late arrival, had many in our travels, however this was the only hotel that greeted us with a glass of squash and a stale sandwich. I asked to eat this monstrosity at the hotel bar only to be told by the front desk that it was closed. The bar staff, fortunately opened it for us so we didn't have a completely awful first night. The bedroom was so small we had to edge sideways to get into bed, see attached photo. The shower was hand held, simply held up on the wall. The buffet food was cold, ran out half way through service and close to inedible. The pool towels stained. The hotels only saving grace was the dining and bar staff - so thank you to you.

The internet was useless, no tv working if your English, cardboard cups in your room. Very poor meals for breakfast and evening, cold and unappetising . Staff were lovely and friendly, the basic room was good and clean.

Hotel chosen by the group travel we were on - a good experience. Very clean, comfortable rooms with windows that can be opened (important for us), fine beds, all necessary equipment, also in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet is a bit meager (lots of olives), but no real criticism here as you can find what is necessary for a basic, decent morning meal. The dinner buffet is not truly convincing with a narrow selection of dishes - yet well-prepared and tasty enough (we opted for the chicken drumsticks, a choice that seldom fails) and several meze-dips. Good enough. Surprisingly, fine red wine by the glass. The location is quiet in a eesidential area; walking to the walled city center of Famagusta is possible and takes a 40-minute-walk along the nearby main road, Salamis Road. Very easy but dusty and noisy... yet doable. Not a hotel for a vacation or longer stay, rather for one or two nights to explore the city. Friendly staff that speak acceptable English.

Very warm welcome, professional service at all times. Upon booking I informed the hotel that I required gluten free options, so far for every evening meal I have been served custom-made steak and vegetables with toasted gluten-free bread, absolutely divine. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are quick to remedy any issues which arise. I highly recommend Grand Sapphire City Hotel, Teşekkür ederim :-)
