The hotel is the sole operating building in a construction zone. Everything around it is being built, housing, commercial space, etc. The hotel is beautiful and few minutes from the metro. The room I got was spacious and well appointed. This is a new hotel that I am sure is working out what is going to be when it “grows up” so a number of recommendations: 1. Pay attention to housekeeping. My room was dirty, with previous guest hairs in the shower 2. Invest in a better breakfast or don’t offer one. After day one disappointing breakfast, I decided to make my own with food from the Trader Joe’s down the road 3. Staff friendliness: This was the most striking thing during my stay. The staff seemed sour and unfriendly. There was never a person at the front desk for a hotel that was barely occupied. The front desk staff hid in the office… bizarre. The housekeeping staff was equally unfriendly and never greeted guests. All in much need of training or a new job. I hope the hotel improves in the future, it is in a good location and it is a beautiful property but the staff ruins it.
