Beatiful perfect little hotel in the mountain village. Family driven, so lovely and nice husband and wife. Good vibes and very good energy. Great service, and a place to find autenthic crete hospitality. All you need and som extra. Recommended!

What a beautiful place to stay. Zaros is a lovely, quite traditional mountain village and Keramos is situated at its heart. We received a very warm welcome and were given a choice of rooms (early in the season so not full). We chose a room on the top floor with views over the rooftops to the mountains beyond. The room was very comfortable (fridge, kettle, hairdryer and lovely furnishings) with a typical Greek bathroom and was spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast - a real feast. The freshly made cheese pies were amazing! Astonishing value for money, we will return.

This property has been owned and operated for several generations by the same family. Pride of ownership and culture is obvious. Our room was clean and comfortable. All the breakfast items were home made and we were encouraged to take as much as we wanted with us. Although supper was available at a restaurant just a two minute walk away within the village, we chose to walk up to a nearby lake where we enjoyed a drink. The walk took just 20 minutes along a quiet country road. On the way back, we stopped for supper at one of the hotels located on the hill side. This is an excellent location if you're visiting Gordys or Phaistos.

Velina & Michalis make you feel like home from the very first seconds you get at Keramos.
Breakfast is a real treat & dinner at Vegera (the family's restaurant) is delicious traditional Cretan cuisine.
Their family are the most welcoming and lovely people I've met in Greece in 15 years.

Hôtel familial, authentique où on se sent bien. La façade est recouverte de végétation dense qui offre une petite terrasse bien agréable. La chambre familiale est confortable avec une mini kitchenette. L'accueil est très prévenant et le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel !

I proprietari sono molto accoglienti e gentili; si respira un clima semplice e curato. La colazione fatta in casa è davvero ottima, abbondante! Keramos è un posto autentico e genuino, che non ha nulla a che fare con il turismo di massa. Lo stesso vale per Zaros, la splendida cornice in cui si trova.

Petite pension de famille gérée par un couple charmant. Nous avions demandé au patron de nous emmener en haut des gorges de Rouvas en 4x4 et il s'est exécuté avec plaisir pour un tarif de 100 euros pour l'ensemble, et je ne peux que recommander ce service qui vous évite la montée et la descente des gorges à pieds Chambre assez grande et bien équipée mais attention au lit dont le matelas déborde du lit, risque de chute, expérience vécue. Et dommage que l'environnement soit aussi bruyant le matin avec le coq qui chante très tôt et surtout une meute de chiens qui aboient.
