Red Roof Inn Fairmont

The room was not clean. The floors were dirty and disgusting, tub and sink were dirty, the frame for the mirror had a huge chip in it the sink countertop was sticky, and the two keycards they gave us wouldn’t work. The bathroom is tiny and toilet is loud. And the back top of the toilet isn’t on the full way.

My wife and I have stayed here on multiple occasions and have never once been disappointed. Angie is the best. She always goes out of her way to make us feel like family. The rooms here are clean and comfortable. You certainly get your money’s worth at this hotel. The hotel itself is easily accessible from I-79 at Exit 132. We will definitely keep staying here

I was IN route to Baltimore from Ohio and had researched this Motel in advance. I reserved based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and they were correct. The staff was super friendly and even recommended a local place to dine. I checked in and went to my room which was on the rear of the motel which I like for quiet. There were 5 crews of Mexican contractors having a party in the parking lot and asked me to join. They recommended a near by Authentic Mexican Restaurant which was fabulous. The room was very clean, including the Frig & the microwave. I have book marked this for all of my future trips to & from Ohio. I highly recommend to anyone trying to save money and still have a clean place to stay.

Very clean and I slept very well. Well dusted, and my allergies didn't act up. You need to drive up an incline in case you are worried about ice and snow. Friendly people. Only coffee and tea in the morning. Excellent price.

Great value, nice room, clean and great location, friendly welcoming staff, close to the highway and pet friendly. This is now our go to stop over when driving to/from visiting our son and daughter-in-law in North Carolina! Love this place.

I stayed here in a pinch when in town for a family emergency. The reviews made it seem like the best budget option. The trouble started as soon as I got to my room and found the door already open. Literally standing about a foot open. The desk clerk was walking by so I grabbed him and had him go check the room out before I went in. He apologized and said the housekeepers must not have pulled the door shut. Next was the smell. This is an old place and like most places that have been here more than 30-40 years, it has that musty, lingering cigarette smell from the days when smoking was permitted. That is extremely unpleasant. I settled in anyway and it was fairly clean. I did see some visible dust on the lampshades but it was not a dirty room and the bed was fresh. I went to take a shower and realized I had no towel. Not a single one. I called the desk and he promptly brought me some- two bath towels and a hand towel, no wash cloth or bath mat. Oh well. I assume because of the open door, I shared my room with several creepy crawlies and mosquitoes- yes, mosquitoes in March. I did not sleep well, between feeling like things were crawling on me (they weren’t, probably) and the people talking outside my door off and on all night. I was supposed to stay two more nights but I hightailed it out if there first thing in the morning. I’m going to pay triple the price for a room at the Hampton tonight, but it’s worth it to me for the comfort.

We have had multiple stays at this Red Roof Inn and the single instance we had discrepancies with our room the General Manager jumped in and IMMEDIATELY corrected them. This is definitely a place to visit especially due to their hardworking staff and amazing location. I greatly appreciate their handwork and dedication to those who are able to stay here.

Booked via TripAdvisor at $43/nt and was charged $56. The AC didn’t work very well. Had on high but rarely kicked on. The room was clean. You can easily hear noise from outside the room. An inexpensive place to stay but some trade-offs.

The room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. We appreciated the desk area, refrigerator and microwave . The A/C was quiet. The TV has a good selection of stations and movies. No breakfast but we don't want that anyway. Only 3 stars because the plumbing is noisy and and you can hear the water flow from overhead and adjoining rooms. The sink did not drain well and the toilet flush was weird. They charge you for the safe in the room but will refund it if you tell them you didn't use it. We forgot to tell them that. There were noisy kids outside til quite late and I guess staff didn't check for that. We should. Have called the office and complained. They don't charge for pets, which is a great feature.
