Premier Inn Exeter Central St Davids

An ok hotel very near the train station. They were very short staffed just 2 staff running reception and the restaurant, also very strangely the staff told us not to have their baby cot as poor quality. Appreciate the honesty but would recommend this is sorted

Excellent stay in a contemporary room. We had an enjoyable night in this hotel and were very impressed with the new style room. The bathroom in particular was excellent with a huge walk in shower and everything felt clean and bright. As it was a Sunday night, we had booked it for an excellent price too. Breakfast was not a buffet style, presumably because it was a quiet night in the hotel but was enjoyable all the same.

As always this hotel ticks all the boxes. Comfort, cleanliness and service. Had one of the best nights sleep, with no disturbances in the best bed. Service from the staff not an issue here, friend polite and efficient. Joud was great on check-in.

Travelling by train to go out for an evening in Exeter city centre, we have never stayed in a better situated hotel. It’s opposite Exeter St David’s station - less than a two minute level walk with wheely luggage. Getting into town to watch a film at the buzzy Phoenix Arts Centre followed by dinner at the excellent Harry’s restaurant took minutes. Getting back was as simple. It was the first time we’d stayed in a Premier Inn Plus room. The bed, of course, was super comfortable and there are nice design and other worthwhile upgrades. Breakfast was great value and served til eleven. The noon check out makes for a relaxed start to the day.

Great value for money and the room was excellent as always. The continental breakfast was good value and plentiful though perhaps it should have cold meats and cheeses also available. good to be able to mix and match as i wanted and go back as many times as needed.
