Meine Frau und ich waren schon mehrmals in dem Hotel. Wir sind nie enttäuscht worden. Das Hotel bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Genfer See, es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den See zu nehmen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Da der schöne Spa kostenpflichtig ist, lohnt sich die Zimmerkategorie: ＜KING DELUXE ROOM WITH LAKE VIEW AND SPA＞ Man findet immer eine Liege zum Sonnenbaden am Pool. Die Executive Lounge bietet einen sensationellen Blick über den gesamten Genfer See und natürlich auch Lausanne. Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe dem alten Stadtzentrum, ein Spaziergang am Abend lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Très bon accueil, chaleureux dans une résidence très agréable. Appartement très spacieux, propre et avec un mobilier de qualité et authentique. La magnifique vue sur le lac est très plaisante, surtout au réveil ! Parfait pour un dépaysement total ! Nous recommandons !

An idyllic setting in the heart of nature, la Verniaz is a green oasis just a stone's throw from Evian. From Evian, you can get there on foot, by funicular when it's in season, or using the resort's shuttles. Both shuttles and funicular are free! A manege with horses is just a few meters from reception. The bar and hotel staff are friendly, smiling and welcoming, which is far from a given these days! We've known la Verniaz for years and go there regularly; it's always a pleasure and a lovely romantic getaway!

The customer service at the hotel, led by Sebastien Caquelard, was incredible. Having stayed there years ago I was excited to see that the sleeping rooms have been updated in great style. I loved the spa, both the fitness room as well as the deep tissue massage I had. I enjoyed walking down the hill to the town of Evian although the hotel has a no-charge limo to take guests back and forth; the taxi to go up the hill (I arrived by ferry from Lausanne) to the hotel was nominal, maybe 10 euros. I appreciate the Evian Resort experience with the Hotel Ermitage being associated with its sister-property, the five-star Hotel Royal. I will happily return to Hotel Ermitage.
