We made the mistake of arriving on a Sunday, thinking that as it had a bar and restaurant that they would be open. They weren't. I can only think that the three star rating for this place is due to the fact that they have such facilities. Pity they're closed at weekends. We had to drive a few miles to go to dinner on the town. We had to ring a phone number to be let in on arrival, which is not very welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of a tatty industrial park, and we did worry about parking our car there, but it was intact in the morning. We had a kettle in the room, but no cups or tea or coffee. The Receptionist provided cardboard cups etc upon request. The room was OK, basic, but we didn't pay a fortune to stay here. It was clean. Breakfast was a shambles. The Receptionist and a colleague were setting tables, but it turned out that they were setting them for dinner. As we went to sit down, staff removed placemats etc. Simple verbal communication would have been useful, there was no attempt to speak to us in French or English to explain what was happening. We managed to get the last couple of croissants and pieces of bread before they ran out at 8.30. Otherwise we would have had to manage with fruit, yogurts and ham. We did hear some people quite rightly grumbling about it. Upon departure, no-one asked us whether we'd had a pleasant stay, or even wished us ”bon voyage”. A man merely took our key from us with a ”merci”. Bottom line is, that I wouldn't stay here again. There is plenty of choice closer to Evreux.

Rein Hotel, empfangend Personal. Die Zimmer sind sauber sehr kleine Liebesneid für ein Wochenende in Liebe. Und dann das Top-Frühstück von Top-Wachsendes Brot zu Schokolade Brot aus dem Ofen. Getreide, Obstsaft, Yaghurt, Kompott. Ein gutes Frühstück, bevor wir gehen. Wir kommen ohne zu zögern zurück. Zum Preis c ist wirklich sehr gut.

Die Unterkunft war richtig, das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines sehr beliebten Garten. Das ruhige Dach ist wieder zu sehen, sobald niemand in den Korridor durch die Vibrationen seiner Schritte im Zimmer resoniert, konnte man auch die Gespräche eines der mitoischen Zimmer verfolgen. Die Oberfläche des Badezimmers ist gefeucht und die Farbe schüttelt in die Dusche, was nicht einen guten Eindruck gibt, wenn in der Hygiene, gut, es gab 2 Handtücher-Stück zur Verfügung. Das Bett ist mit relativ geringem Komfort, das die wenigsten Bewegungen schüttelt. Für die Getränke, die mit dem Kekserei angeboten werden, habe ich eine Überraschung, dass ich seit 1 Monat Milch verbraucht habe!

Die Umgebung des Hotelzimmers ist etwas alt und es gibt nichts außer 2 Grillhallen. Aber das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, die Kellner sind auch super schön, eine hohe Service-Haltung, der alte Herr, der die Nacht beobachtet hat, ist sehr begeistert

En déplacement professionnel pour une journée dans le secteur nous y passerons une nuit. Surprise à l'arrivée de découvrir l'hôtel en travaux mais ça ne gênera en rien la nuit que nous y passerons. L'accueil a été très sympathique. Le rapport qualité prix pour une nuit avec petit déjeuner est correct pour un hôtel se cette catégorie. L'emplacement en fond de zone en fait un hôtel globalement calme.

Rating: ⭐⭐ Let's start with the positives. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness were commendable, and they made me feel valued as a guest. Additionally, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring the rooms were tidy and well-maintained, which is certainly a plus for a budget hotel. The location is pretty central, although the hotel is slightly awkward to get to (given the town’s one way systems!) but within a few metres of a pleasant square with bars and decent restaurants. One major issue was the paper-thin walls. Unfortunately, this led to an unfortunate situation where I could hear conversations from the neighboring room. It was not only an invasion of privacy but also disrupted my ability to relax and get a good night's sleep. I believe soundproofing should be a priority for any hotel, regardless of its budget status. To make matters worse, the noise issue reached its peak when an amorous couple in the adjacent room started shagging at 3am. While I understand that the Greet Hotel is a budget establishment, the thin walls and lack of sound insulation made for an unpleasant experience. I strongly urge the management to address this issue promptly and take measures to improve the soundproofing of the rooms. Guests should be able to enjoy a peaceful and undisturbed stay, regardless of the hotel's price range. In conclusion, the welcoming staff and clean rooms at the Greet Hotel in Evreux were commendable. However, the lack of soundproofing compromised the overall quality of my stay.
