My space is located next to São Pedro Estoril beach, near the village of Cascais (5 kms) and with quick and easy access to Lisbon city center (30 minutes by train). You will love my space because of the location, near the beach and town, the comfortable and quiet environment, and the outdoor space, the pool allows you to spend a very relaxing day. It is perfect for those who want to visit the city of Lisbon and relax, or simply surf on the beaches of Estoril coast (Carcavelos, Guincho).
Detailed Description:
• Space
S. Pedro House is an independent apartment with its own entrance, set in a villa with pool, garden and parking.
This space (T1) consists of 1 bedroom with toilet and closet, living room with dining area and kitchen.
The apartment was “created” in July 2016, is equipped with new and modern furniture and appliances, which gives it a contemporary and cozy atmosphere.
The porch with an intimate surrounding view of the pool is for the exclusive use of guests.
Created to accommodate 2 people, the sofa bed in the living room can accommodate 2 more people.
The ambience, location and access give this space a versatility that makes it perfect for a city and beach vacation, sporting holidays, particularly for water sports, surfing and sailing, and golf.
Based on the “feel at home” motto for long term stays I make available to my guests cleaning and laundry service.
• Guest Access:
In terms of outdoor space, the use of the pool and garden is shared exclusively by guests and my family.
Car parking space may be used by guests if requested at night sharing with family.
• Host Interaction
The host's interaction with guests is tailored to their "desire" and needs.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed in person by the hostess or other family member. The presentation of the apartment, the description of the surrounding area and the location of the supermarket, pharmacy, health center and restaurants are indicated.
For longer stays, we offer guests, where possible, a welcame drink by the pool..
• Other observations
To make my guests feel at home I facilitate a set of services or access to them whenever requested:
. transfers from the airport to the apartment.
. provision of meals.
. clothing treatment.
. cleaning service.
. access to practice sports activities, book lessons or reserve means to practice them (surf or other water sports lessons, golf, course booking).
. organization of sightseeing.
The neighborhood
• Overview
São Pedro do Estoril is located on one side of the triangle, Lisbon - Cascais - Sintra, called “Cascais Line” or Estoril Coast.
The Cascais line, known internationally as the Estoril Coast, given its proximity to the city center is the elite residential area of Portuguese and foreign society, and at the same time a bathing area 15 minutes from the capital.
The village of São Pedro do Estoril, located near the beach of S. Pedro, is mostly made up of villas from the early and mid twentieth century. Very wooded and with “quality” catering spaces, it is a very charismatic and quiet residential area.
The beach of S. Pedro is located in the cove of Bafureira, has a very particular beauty because it is surrounded by ravines and is bounded to the west by the headstone of Pedra do Sal. Its waters are often the scene of national and international surfing and bodyboarding competitions..
• Go and come
Served by a train station on the Cascais line, which brings it significantly closer to the center of Lisbon and Cascais.
Situated near the Cascais train station and next to Avenida Marginal (N6 road), access to the apartment by car or public transport is very easy, fast and economical.
Of note is the ease of parking and no charge.
Access to the airport: 20 minutes by car, 45 minutes by public transport (20 minutes by metro + 25 minutes by train).
Access to Lisbon Center: 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by train.
Access to Cascais Center: 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by train and 30 minutes on foot.
Access to Sintra: 15 minutes by car.
Beach access: 5 minutes on foot or by car.

wir haben uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht
Durch ein großes Tor gelangt man auf das Grundstück,
geht ums Haus herum und sieht gleich den schönen Pool.
Die Terrassentüre (durchsichtiges Glas) ist gleichzeitig die Eingangstüre zur Wohnung. Durch diese Türe kommend, steht man im Wohnsimmer. In der Verlängerung kommt der Essbereich und hinten dann die Küche.
Zw. Wohn- und Essbereich geht es rechts in einen schmalen Gang. Und so gelangt man dann ins Bad und ins Schlafzimmer.
Nur im Schlafzimmer sind 3 Oberlichter (= Kellerfenster) !!!
Weitere Fenster sind in dieser Wohnung NICHT vorhanden!!
Durch die Oberlichter kommt kaum Tageslicht rein, da davor der Treppenaufgang für das Haus gebaut wurde.
Selbst bei Sonne müssen die Lampen eingeschaltet werden.
Wer sich in Kellerwohnungen wohlfühlt ist hier richtig.
Da wir Lissabon schon 2019 gesehen haben und diese Reise ein Roadtrip von Porto nach Cascais war, wollten wir uns entspannen und gar nicht mehr so viele Besichtigungen unternehmen.
Nach einer Nacht haben wir beschlossen uns eine andere Bleibe zu suchen.
Wir hätten uns sonst diesen schönen Urlaub verdorben.
Nachdem wir ein Hotel gefunden haben, haben wir Ana eine Mitteilung gesendet. Wir haben kein Geld zurück gefordert. Obwohl meiner Ansicht nach, diese wichtige Erläuterungen (fehlende Fenster) in der Beschreibung fehlt.
Übrigens: Zw. Wohngebiet und Strand verläuft die Bahnschiene und eine 4-spurige Straße. Wir haben länger als 5 Min zum Strand gebraucht. Wahrscheinlich haben wir den richtigen Weg nicht gefunden

We had a fabulous stay here. It was everything we wanted; quiet, chilled with plenty of things to do nearby should we wish. Pool was the kids favourite part, having it to ourselves and them being able to hop in when they woke up! 10 min walk to the beach. 5 min uber to Cascais (between 5 and 9 Euros), 30 mins train to Lisbon. We went into Lisbon twice but got Ubers as they were very reasonable. Great apartment. Thoroughly recommend.

Perfect stay
This was a fantastic property and our host could not have been more accommodating. It was a clean and comfortable apartment in a great location. We spent a lot of time in the pool and at the beach!

Close to everything
Cute place! Comfortable bed. Conveniently located near the train, cozy neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops, the coastal walkway path and the beach. Our only issue was a strong smell in the kitchen - we kept the door shut and never used it (we didn’t notify Ana of the smell). We spent most of our time away from the house so it didn’t affect our stay. She was super responsive and gave us great tips. Thank you, Ana!

One of the best places I have ever stayed
Ana Cristina and Pedro were very welcoming. They received us with wine, Porto and scotch. The place extremely clean and with many extra amenities. The pool was amazing. Nice garage and the train to Lisbon was at 5 min walk. The train takes around 15 min to Lisbon and the station is walkable to,the center. Hop in hop off buses have a stop there. Lovely place, wish we could have stayed longer. Congratulations to Ana Cristina and Pedro for being such a wonderful hosts.

Central for Access
The unit was a very nice size and well set up. It is central to catching the train to Cascais or Lisbon - about a 10 minute walk to the station. About 10 minutes to the grocery store. There are cafes in the area. The family was good at giving us directions or showing us where these things were. The family was friendly and responsive to questions and concerns.

Disappointing
Lovely pool.
The kitchen had an unpleasant drainage smell, the sink and tap were awkward to use and the panel beneath the sink was not attached.
The bathroom was worse There was a continuous foul smell. The shower cubicle needed replacing. It had stiff doors and the sealant at the base was not clean.
The mattress of the double bed was stained with “accidents” and specks of damp damage. The bedroom had a damp feel and there were suspicious cover up panels on the wall.
