Das Zimmer ist zwar nicht groß, aber die Einrichtungen sind sehr neu und fühlen sich sehr neu und gehört zu dem neuen Hotel-Kettetyp. Die Lage des Hotels liegt im Gebäude des Auchan Supermarktes, sehr bequem.

We loved it - where else could one stay at a former Roman palace for 200 euro a night ?! Beautiful outdoor pool with panoramic view, perfectly manicured garden, excellent breakfast, there is even an exhibition onsite. Our room (superior category) is spacious and also has a balcony , although we spent little time in room, there are gorgeous lounges with antiques and patios with flower garden view. Why would you stay in your room. We recommend 2 night stays and it is wonderful to enjoy the estate and there are SPA treatments, although we did not use it. The only catch is that it is 20 minutes from the beach. If you need to go to old town or beach, you need to drive a car (parking is included with spacious underground parking) or use Uber.

What a lovely hotel, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is absolutely spotless and clean. We had a great room with a balcony, there was a kettle and fridge, the beds are so comfortable and the room is tidied every day. The breakfast was very generous, continental based with lots of fruit, meats and cheeses, small pastries, it also included eggs and bacon, you can help yourself to as much as you wish. There is also a great swimming pool and sun area, with very comfortable loungers. There is a great supermarket around the corner and it’s a 10 minute walk to the marina. Such a great place to just relax and soak up the sun and atmosphere of Olhao, thank you for a relaxing few days, we hope to return 💜💜

Dieses Best Western liegt zentral in der City von Faro. Etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Hafen entfernt. Ringsherum gibt es ausreichend Restaurants (mal in meinen sonstigen Bewertungen schauen). In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen Laundry Self Service, welcher für Langzeitreisende wie uns sehr nützlich ist. Das Hotel bietet kostenfreie Parkplätze. Die nach hinten gerichteten Zimmer sind super leise. Generell ist das Hotel sehr angenehm und leise. In anderen Hotels in Faro war es immer sehr hellhörig, das Best Western ist es nicht. Absolut zu empfehlen für eine geruhsame Nacht ;) Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Unser Badezimmer war riesig und hatte ein Fenster. Die Unterkunft war so günstig, dass man über Kleinigkeiten hinweg schauen kann. Das Hotel wird alles in Allem in Schuss gehalten und ist als ideale Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Faro absolut zu empfehlen!

Sehr schön direkt am Hafen liegendes Hotel. Das Zimmer war schön groß und geräumig. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Möbel leicht beschädigt, aber trotzdem noch alles gut und schön. Frühstück und Service, alles sehr gut. Flughafen sehr schnell erreichbar. Wetter war Ende Januar auch ganz gut. Zwischen 15-19 Grad tagsüber und viel Sonnenschein. Ausflüge und Bootstouren auch zu dieser Zeit möglich. Shoppen hat sich gelohnt, da Sale gewesen. Shoppingcenter und Outlet in der Nähe. Gerne wieder!

We didn't want to come home. The staff were great, we loved the hotel and will definitely be back. We used the outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa facilities. The hotel is a bit secluded and we couldn't go anywhere without transport but once we realised that the Bolt app (like Uber) was a fraction of the cost of a taxi, we were exploring regularly. Vilamoura Marina was great for food/drinks. The waterpark was good fun, even better that it was included. The queues could be long but that's standard with these places.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed here at the end of August as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everything was kept clean and tidy throughout around the pool, cafe and reception areas. The rooms were tidied and cleaned every day by the maids, all other staff around the hotel were very helpful too! Our experience was a very positive one. The apartment was a very good standard for what we wanted, there was 1 bedroom and then a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The kitchen was basic but enough to make a brew/toast or something simple like pasta. Although slightly out of town we actually enjoyed the location of this hotel. For those that want to go into town the hotel offers a free bus service 3 times per day into Vilamoura which is a bonus when it's hot. If we wanted to stay out later we sometimes used an uber which cost around 5/6euros into town. The hotel was very quiet and you didn't have to fight for sunbeds as there was plenty for everyone! Food was served in the small cafe/restaurant. It was basic but good enough if you don't want to cook or go into town. There is a Spar supermarket literally around the corner (0.2miles walk) which is well equipped with essentials and has a really good variety of fresh foods/bread. Although we didn't go to lay golf the hotel is in a perfect location for golfers as it's not far from some of the famous courses. We would definitely stay here again but I would advise that you check the location before you book. Some of the negative comments about the location do not do this place justice.

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Ausblick und super Frühstück. Direkte Nähe zur Altstadt und Fischhalle. Günstige Preise im Ort. Viele Parkplätze vorhanden. Nette Bar für Drinks und kleine Leckereien. Kann ich nur empfehlen
