Okay place for such price but there is no air conditioner and because of that No heater also.Not convenient during the heat season and of course freezing during the cold times.

I agree with the recent comments. The place is horrible. Furniture is very limited and the rooms are cold. It seems that there have been no restoration for 10 years. Almost impossible to contact the hotel. Above all, the location is very noisy given that the trendiest roof top is just...in front

I had the pleasure of staying two nights in this lovely authentic riad. From the moment you step in, you know this is a special place! The decor is fabulous and shows great attention to detail. My room and the common areas are spotlessly clean. My room was on the top floor. Outside was a large patio/balcony common area with seating. Great for stargazing! There is an atrium in the middle, you can see down to the first floor. My bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the shower was gorgeous! All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. In addition, this riad is far easier to find than most! It is centrally located in the old city area and is a five minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice riad, in the perfect location in the Medina. Theresa and her husband do whatever they can to make you comfortable. They even made me gluten free crepes! It is very clean and the decor is so lovely! I highly recommend staying here.

Me and my husband are locals and we have stayed here one night to be repeated surely when coming to essaouira city. They give discounts for big groups and long term stays – I recommend contacting them directly for the best price. This is an authentic Moroccan riad loaded with antiques painstaking collected by the local owners over the years and decorated as a labor of love and coziness. Tea is happily provided when welcoming. Breakfast can be included with the room hot and fresh. There is a calm energy and a coziness about the place. They seem to love the riad and their guests. It is in an easy and fabulous location in the Medina. A short walk to the beach, the square, souk and squala. Finding it is super easy using google maps. I highly recommend this riad, especially for English speakers looking for an authentic Moroccan experience! Thank you Teresa and Loqman.

The hotel is nice and clean and decorated to a nice way. I however had a terrible situation with the woman owner who was very aggressive and threatening in her behavior towards me. had agreed with them that I would pay the evening when I would return as I would get money from the cash machine. As I returned around 11 at night I went straight to my room as it was too late and there was no one around. I would stay in the hotel 3 days anyway. Ten minutes later she came knocking aggressively on my door demanding that I open the door, I said I was in my underwear and a t shirt, but she kept knocking demanding I go downstairs and pay 'right now'. I opened the door so she could see I was in my underwear and a t shirt, she threatened me by saying if I don't go downstairs to pay right now, I have to find another place to stay. (this is happening around 23.15 at night). I went downstairs to pay and she accused me of hiding in my room, I said I returned late and that there was one at rception so I thought I would pay in the morning as I would stay there 3 days anyway. She was aggressive and threatening in her behaviour and as a solo female traveler, this was a terrible and scary experience. The next day when I came out of my room, around 12 in the afternoon, (I could not sleep at night from the shock, so ended up sleeping early hours of the morning) her husband was waiting in a chair, 3 metres further away, waiting to talk to me. He wanted to explain his wife's behaviour and told me things like: 'we are a family here'....really.....terrible experience....this is not how families are! Thats a very wrong understanding!
