Bei unserer Ankunft in der Villa De L'Ô wurden wir herzlich von Nouredino begrüßt, dessen Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft unseren Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltete. Der Höhepunkt unserer Erfahrung im Laufe der fünf Tage war für uns der außergewöhnliche Service des gesamten Teams. Das Hotel befindet sich in bester Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten von den Haupteinkaufsstraßen und dem Strand entfernt. Das in unserem Aufenthalt inbegriffene Frühstück war reichlich und sorgte für einen tollen Start in den Tag. Der Dachbereich war fantastisch und bot einen Panoramablick auf das Meer. Die Schlafzimmer in der Villa De L'Ô boten Komfort und erholsamen Schlaf nach Tagen voller Aktivitäten. Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass Villa De L'Ô zwar ein schönes Erlebnis bietet, es sich jedoch nicht um ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel der Spitzenklasse handelt. Es sind einige Mängel vorhanden, die aber der Gesamtqualität und dem Charme des Aufenthalts keinen Abbruch tun.

Das Team war großartig. So aufmerksam und freundlich. Als wir eincheckten, bekamen wir ein Upgrade auf die nächstgrößere Zimmergröße. Gott sei Dank!!! Ich hatte in der ersten Nacht eine allergische Reaktion und am nächsten Tag fragten alle nach mir und wollten sichergehen, dass es mir gut ging. Sie waren brillant. Wir fühlten uns so willkommen. Ja, der Ort ist etwas älter, aber es trägt zum Charme bei. Essouira ist eine alte Stadt und man erkennt sie mit ihren Eigenheiten. Wir hatten dort einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Das Einzige ist, dass die Kissen schockierend waren. Klumpig und holprig. Aber fragen Sie nach anderen ... die Betten sind etwas hart, aber auch hier nicht schlimmer als ein Futon!!!

Beste Suite in der Villa „Opium“. Schmutzig, heruntergekommen, kaputte Böden, Blut auf dem Kissenbezug, mild und Schmutz an Wänden/Fenstern/Dusche, fleckiger Toilettensitz, Kissenbezüge passen nicht zu den alten, klumpigen Kissen. Das Personal erlaubte das Rauchen beim Frühstück, das Management weigerte sich, die Probleme zu besprechen, sondern reinigte lediglich das beschädigte Zimmer. Der Fernseher funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Überteuert und nicht hygienisch, hygienisch oder das Geld wert. Geh woanders hin! Hotel riecht schlecht.

The manager Raedoumomd And all the crew, including Smile and the kind lady that cleaned our room everyday are the such of important addition to the amazing Riad called Villa de L’O. They made our experience so pleasant and special! The place itself is beautiful and full of character! Everything about it made me want to stay for longer time. I really like it that the place is at the beginning of the medina, not in the middle of the crowd. It has an amazing view of the beach from the rooftop! Everything about it was delightful! If you have a chance to stay here, do not waist it!

We had the Prestige room overlooking the beach which was a spectacular vista to wake up to. It is huge with a bathroom the size of most hotel rooms. It had a beautiful sunken bath and separate shower. The building itself is full of French colonial artefacts and furniture. Lovely roof terrace where you can watch the world go by and all ages kite surfing, surfing or playing football on the beach. The hotel also has the benefit of been just inside the medina so easy to access restaurants, shops etc but at the same time also easy to get to the beach (200 yards away). Breakfast was good and included fruit salad. breads, cakes, omelette/ scrambled egg, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Would definitely return!

Good value for money and great location. We visited Essaouira for a few days and enjoyed it very much. Most of our time we were kitesurfing and we sleeped in this nice hotel for 4 days. If you're looking for a good location, this hotel is the right choice

If you want to really feel that you're in Morocco then this is the place for you. The interior design takes you back to another era when style and atmosphere were top of the agenda. The rooms are light and spacious and all furnished in a French colonial style. As others have mentioned Redouane and his team are on top of their game when it comes to service; Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions for supper restaurants were all excellent. The breakfasts were simple but plentiful; freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, moroccan pancakes, homemade cakes, soft fresh bread and pastries and your choice of cooked eggs, all served with a warm smile!

We were greeted with smiles that continued all week. Redouane and his team could not have been more attentive, helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. It is a great location and we had a room with a view down the beach which was fantastic. I would definitely go back but we were lucky as there was no-one else staying there so I worry that it might have been very noisy if others were there. It had an old-faded charm but there is no doubt that it is more shabby than chic - it could be amazing if the owner gave it a little love. We are definitely going back to Essaouira but am not sure I would book again just due to the lack of love.
