The hotel is basic but very clean and the room was cleaned every day . The only criticism would be no tea or coffee on arrival as we arrived late and really needed a drink . The staff in the hotel are extremely polite , friendly and helpful . It’s in a great location and we chose to stay here because the train station is literally a 2/3 minutes walk . Easy access to the very beautiful Porto on two days using the very efficient and extremely cheap public transport . Try to avoid rush hour for travelling as it gets packed . Then a train ride to Aveiro too - like the Venice of Northern Portugal . Espinho itself is charming and quaint with a laid back feel , although in October is very quiet . We even had good enough weather to swim in the sea on two days day near to the surfers . There are also some lovely bars and restaurants . Crowd bar just around the corner is lovely with warm, friendly staff , great value and good for breakfast and a coffee. The View just around the corner which is great for live Portuguese music at the weekend and excellent staff , decent Porto tonico ! Sapiens restaurant for a lovely Francesina Portuguese meal . There’s a lovely Italian restaurant , some kebab houses etc. for cheap and cheerful . I would recommend staying here but I might prefer the summer for a longer stay . Overall a lovely experience if you don’t wish to stay in Porto itself .

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem 2-night Aufenthalt und werden zurückkehren als Espinho wollen wir die Fahrt abschließen, die in der Nähe des Hotels in Vila Nova de Gaia beginnt. Die wöchentliche Feira am Montag ist nicht zu verpassen. Pros: Wert für das Geld (ein vergleichbares Zimmer mit Meerblick im Boston/Cape Cod-Bereich im Juli würde leicht für mindestens 4 Mal, was wir bezahlt, gehen), Nähe zum Strand, Stadt und Bordwand, Blick vom Balkon, Patienten und Unterkunftspersonal, Schönes Frühstück, geräumiges Badezimmer mit Vollmengenprodukten (Schampoo/Dusche Gel/Handlotion) Kons: Keine Klimaanlage in der Lobby, Parkplatz ist nicht im EXTREMELL-Rezession für und Ocean-Front Hotel inbegriffen

Ein sehr gutes Hotel Ein sehr gute Lage Mit großer Transport zum Porto City Centre & Zurück & Seine Nur 20 Minuten Auf einem Bus Zu einem großen Strand, sehr gutes Frühstück, große Größe des Zimmers , sehr freundliches Personal Das Sprechen sehr gutes Englisch , Kann nicht warten, um hier wieder zu bleiben

This hotel was as near to perfect as it gets for us. We stayed as a family of four in a Sea View Suite on the first floor. The 2 rooms were very comfortable. Large double bed for adults and fold out sofa bed for the children. The bed was so comfortable. The block out shutters helped us get a great night’s sleep each night. There is a spotless clean pool with about 20 beds surrounding it. It tended to get busy later in the afternoon as people checked in but we never had trouble finding somewhere to lie. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. We still had plenty to choose from after 5 mornings. The staff was brilliant. Especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. They were so considerate and kind. The WiFi worked well and the TV had lots of channel choice. It is a decent walk to Espinho town centre.but well worth the effort. There is a Continente supermarket and a McDonalds a short walk away. The boardwalk is about 500m away as is the beach. We plan to stay here again next Summer

I may as well start my review with the only negative I could find. This was the smoking area directly outside the hotel entrance. So as soon as you open the door to go in cigarette smoke also went in. And now the good parts without a doubt, the hotels, biggest attribute are the staff. Our week started with a very warm welcome reception from a young man who was very polite and very helpful. Unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. But I guess that doesn’t really matter as it is a recurring theme during our entire stay . One young man who needs a special mention who works behind the bar, told me he was only 20 years of age, which I didn’t believe as he is one of the most honest, trustworthy and sincerest of persons I have the fortune to meet. It just goes to show that not all young people have attitude . Now I have to say that everybody who works behind the bar was fantastic and polite. so on behalf of my wife and I would like to thank you all. But Andre Martins you are a superstar from my heart you deserve a pat on the back and a promotion. One day my friend I’m sure you will be manager. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The management should be very proud. The room was fantastic overlooking the river was clean and tidy with plenty of room. On occasions we ate at the hotel and every time wife was running out of wine someone came to pour some from her bottle. Her exact words were she felt like a princess it was nice that staff mad us both feel very special. The food was very nice and we both would recommend. In due course we shall return to the hotel as it was well situated. Thank you to all an absolutely fantastic start to our tour of Portugal.

Es ist ein gutes Hotel mit angemessen Zimmern, gutes Frühstück und eine gut gelagerte Bar, aber wir waren überrascht, dass es keine Tee-/Kaffee-Anlage im Zimmer, keine Eisentisch und - vor allem - nur einen Ladepunkt gibt! Die standbeleuchtete und der Fernseher teilten eine Verbindung und Sie könnten eine oder andere haben, verlassen Sie das Zimmer dünn! Eine fragt sich, wie das ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist! Das sagte, es gibt einen großen (freien) Parkplatz. Die Rauchraumstunde zwischen Bar und Restaurant ist sehr bequem. Ein besonderer Barkeeper war erfreulich und für einige der Nachteile gebildet. Das Restaurant und das Personal des Frontbüros sollten von ihm lernen: Ein Antrag auf Frühstück 10 Minuten vor der Öffnungszeit wurde abgelehnt, obwohl fast alles ausgearbeitet wurde!

Dieses Hotel ist nur eine Minute vom Zentrum von Porto entfernt, aber die Zugstop ist nur eine Minute entfernt. Ich fragte nach einem ruhigen Zimmer, ich hatte einen am Rücken und es war ideal. Die Bar ist aus dem Empfangsbereich. ist sehr klein und fehlt an**osphere. Das Restaurant im oberen Stock hat schöne Aussichten, ich habe dort nur einmal Abendessen gegessen und es war OK. Das Personal war jederzeit sehr hilfreich. Die Vielfalt am Frühstück variierte von Tag zu Tag, es war wahrscheinlich, was man in einem 3* Hotel erwartet.

Wow. Wo starte ich. Erstens, lasst uns über das reden, was Sie von Ihrem Aufenthalt erwarten. Für uns war es nur eine Geschäftsreise. Wir nutzten diesen Ort als irgendwo, um unseren Kopf abzuwerfen, da wir am meisten am Tag ausgehen würden. Lage: Die Lage dieses Hotels ist schrecklich. Es gibt nichts da draußen. Das Essen, das sie auf dem Menü angeboten haben, war so wenig, dass wir uns entschieden, aus zu gehen und ein Restaurant zu finden. Das war unmöglich! Wir laufen 45 Minuten (mit keiner Straße, aber ich werde in einer Minute zu der) nur um eine Zeitstadt mit wenigen Cafés und Apotheken zu finden. Kein Essen irgendwo. Jetzt, um in diese Stadt zu kommen, war der schrecklichste Spaziergang meines Lebens. Es gibt keine Decken. Wir mussten auf belasteten Straßen um die Bänder gehen und jedes Mal, wenn ich ein Auto hörte kommen, ich wartete gerade auf, und wartete auf, übergeschlagen zu werden. Der Pool: Es war grün, schmutzig und sehr klein. Das Essen: Nach unserem 1.5 Stunden runden Wandern beschlossen wir, zum Hotel zurückzukommen, um Essen zu bekommen, wir hatten Hunger. Wir waren den ganzen Tag reisen. Ich habe für eine vegetarische Pizza gekühlt, wäre schön gewesen, wenn es gekocht, es war kalt im Mittel und heiß auf den Kanten. Was mein Mann wollte nicht verfügbar war (Burger, Pie, Fleisch-Pizza) so hat er für Duck Reis gekühlt. Umg das war das schrecklichste, was ich je gesehen habe. Der Reis war Mikrowellenpack Reis und der Duck.... Also, schauen Sie meine Bilder aus und richten Sie sich selbst. Das Personal: Ich muss sagen, das Personal war wunderschön. Freundlich und eifersüchtig, um zu helfen. Trinken: Es gab wahrscheinlich eine Auswahl von 4/5 Getränken aus. Groß, wenn Sie Whisky oder Gin mögen. Das Zimmer: das Zimmer war klein, grundsätzlich und meist sauber. Nur sehr datei und sehr alt. Insgesamt: Ich weiß, das ist ein 2-Start-Hotel, so dass meine Erwartungen wirklich nicht sehr hoch waren, aber ich hatte zumindest erwartet, dass es in einer Lage sein könnte, wo wir gehen könnten, um irgendwo ein Getränk / Essen zu bekommen.
