I’ve booked this hotel 3 times now, the 1st time through an agent and then through the owners directly. I’ve always booked the same room which is on the ground floor and has a lovely patio. We’ve had 2 lovely holidays here. We booked while here last year for this year and paid a CASH deposit which is what they prefer, they also prefer you to pay in CASH when you check in . I confirmed everything by email a week before including our booking for room 7. On my arrival I was informed that the room had been given to another guest who had booked the room more times than I had and was offered another room upstairs, all I can say is a heated argument ensued and I was shown the door, then having to look for alternative accommodation. On looking back through earlier guest reviews this is a common occurrence. Obviously they are getting a better price for the room. So if you book early direct with the owner don’t take it for granted that you will get what you booked. The emails requesting cash payments have been forwarded on

Perfect apartment for a family of 5. The hotel felt really private although they had other guests. More often we had the pool all for ourselves. We had our room arranged every day, but could of been better swept. We did not mind that too much, as we were also bringing sand from beaches. Maybe if they leave a broom in the room, we could do that.

We stayed for two nights at the Dafnoudi Hotel, in room 9. Lovely clean and modern en-suite bathroom, small refurbished bedroom and kitchenette. Lovely pool with new comfy sun loungers to chill out on, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately we had trouble with the air conditioning in the room, it was getting up to 30 degrees in the day, and a loft room, so reluctantly we did leave the hotel as they were unable to move us to another room for the duration of our holiday. The owner very kindly got maintenance in to try and fix the problem. The hotel is also on the main road into Fiskardo and we found, with our room facing the road, that it was a bit too noisy for us, especially if we wanted the doors open at night. Otherwise really lovely little place to stay. Stone house taverna just a few minutes walk down the road, serves delicious traditional Greek food and would highly recommend. Fiskardo is beautiful, especially to sit and watch the yachts.

Stayed for 5 nights at this property in Room 12, a studio room. Don't let the 2* rating put you off, this is a fabulous Greek gem. Only 26 rooms and has swimming pool set in beautiful gardens adorned with trees and Bougainvillea. A real haven away from the main town. Our room had a lovely balcony, and although overlooked the hotel's car park this wasn't bothersome, and a lovely spot to sit. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom and kitchenette modern. The maid cleaned daily and everything at the property is well maintained. The owner, Christos, and staff were very friendly. Christos turned taxi driver too during our stay with no car hire.. We walked into Fiskardo once, which took about 40 mins along the main road. Would recommend hiring a car to see Assos, Myrtos beach etc.. It truly is a beautiful spot and the hotel is lovely. There are two great restaurants within a couple of mins walk, and a mini market ... grab a beer here and sit back for pre drinks.. ! Overall, a great hotel and I would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this hotel - it’s in a great location near to Fiskado (5 mins drive, 15 mins walk), with 2 tavernas and a shop just a minute’s walk away. The pool area is fantastic - lots of natural shade from fig trees and with views to the sea in the distance.
Our rooms were clean and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and out to the sea.
The only downside was the noise of the road (but it didn’t bother us) and check-in was a bit tricky as no one was in reception when we first arrived. Otherwise, it was all great.

Location, apartment and pool area were all very nice, and would stay again. Only disappointment was that ******* contacted the hotel to confirm that we would be arriving very late (between 12-1am), which was acknowledged by Dafnoudi. However, when we arrived at said time, nobody was was there and we had to try 3 separate tel numbers stuck to the reception door before someone answered in very broken English. All in all it was around 30 mins from the time we arrived to getting into the apartment.

The hotel itself is in good condition. However, the room I got did not match the description of my booking. The booking said it had 1 double bed, 1 twin bed and 1 sofa bed. The room I got only had 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed.

Lovely place and even lovelier staff. Really clean rooms and picturesque scenery from the balcony. Stayed here for 6 nights and didn’t have a car, the walk into fiscardo is roughly 25 mins but it’s all down hill so a 7 euro taxi back isn’t that bad! Things to consider if you do decide to come here is, we payed for bed and breakfast but unfortunately breakfast isn’t running because of covid, so we were reimbursed promptly by the owner. Also on the 5th day we had to move room as an arrival was booked in ours, it wasn’t ideal but assume it was human error. Nonetheless really nice place and perfect for a getaway with friends/family. There’s two lovely restaurants a stones throw away down the road serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Next to those is a little shop to get any bits you want to cook or make in the room
