Due to unfortunate events we did not arrive in time for check in. The reservation was done via Booking and a credit card was used to confirm the booking. Naturally we wanted to pay for the hotel but the owners made it very difficult and acted hostile. Demanded cash even though that wad not possible. Asked for alternatives such as bank transfer but did not get any information. We had to contact Booking to help us get payment information, it took several days. A business that acts this way and only handles cash is probably not competing on similar terms as hotels that offer other means of payment.
