Palemilos Apartments

What we liked: + It was a comfortable and not expensive accommodation + Our studio-room was clean, spacious and very nice, with everything we needed: air-conditioner (free of charge) and an overhead fan, many sockets, TV, safe, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, 3 towels per guest, enough light (natural and electric), but there were shutters and awning over the balcony for the sun + Very good equipped kitchenette: microwave, electric stove, toaster, kettle, drip coffee maker, sandwich toaster, eating and cooking utensils, paper towels, a full bottle of detergent and a new dish sponge (in an economy apartment!) + There was also a portion of soap, shower gel, hair cap and slippers in two sizes – everything is like in a 4* hotel! + The hostess also cares about the health of her guests: in our room we found a set of colour masks, disinfectants for hands and for the table + Our room was decorated in the same style of floral theme – pictures and plates on the walls, curtains, decorative pillows and even furniture handles. So nice, it wasn’t a faceless standard apartment! + Check-out time is about 11:30 – very comfortable! + Good situation of the hotel: 2 minutes walk to a cafe and a mini-supermarket, 5 minutes to Elounda beach, of course, this is not the best beach in Crete, but there are no waves here + Hostess Popi also lives there, so the reception is almost 24/7; we arrived at night and Popi waited for us even with a mini-dinner (for free!), because the restaurants and shops were already closed. She prepared cheese and spinach pies, chocolate, honey with yogurt, crackers, juice and water. Incredible hospitality! + Popi also kept a place in a public parking for us (sometimes it can be full) + And before our departure Popi gave us a fantastic present – a bottle of grappa and a bottle of olive oil, all in safe packaging for a long flight + There we felt not in as a hotel, but as at home of our dear aunt, thanks to Popi! What we didn’t like: - It was the smallest shower in our live (probably 70x70 cm) - even for a very thin person it was inconvenient to use; the curtain closed the shower and the toilet (photo!), so the toilet was always wet, but the floor in the bathroom was also flooded; the window opened right into the shower to make it even smaller and from the balcony opposite we could be seen naked, and also there wern’t enough hooks for 3 towels per guest - One morning there wasn’t hot water, which can be a problem for lovers of the morning shower - Unsafe old sockets in our room, some of them sparked - The pillows were uncomfortable for our taste, too thin - There was no drying rack for swimwear - Our balcony overlooked the common courtyard sometimes noisy in the evening (although it wasn’t a problem for 3 days), in general all street sounds were heard in the room but the hotel is situated in a quiet place, so there wasn’t a lot traffic noise - Cleaning service 2 times a week (this may be a problem for somebody, but it was ok for us) - The wardrobe was small

We had an 11 night stay.it is so comfortable and poppy who owns the apartments is so kind and she really looks after you.the apartment has everything you need from the kitchen to the bedroom. Its a perfect position just off the main square so only two minutes and your in the centre of bars and restaurants. We have stayed there many times and we will be back.good luck for next season poppy from bev and brent.xx

We have stayed at PALAMILOS APARTMENTS seven times since 2012. The level of satisfaction has always been very high: Elounda is a small earthly paradise; the apartments are beautiful and functional, in a strategic position: quiet but at the same time close to the beach, restaurants, minimarkets, pharmacy and so on. Last year we did not come because of COVID but this year we returned for two weeks in September: PALEMILOS APARTMENTS complies with all anti-COVID regulations, cleaning and disinfection are always guaranteed and the staff is extremely attentive ... all this has allowed us to experience a peaceful and completely safe holiday. As usual, congratulations to Popi (the owner): she is always a very kind person and attentive to the needs of her customers. Ultimately, a highly recommended accommodation!

Popi is a unique and very kind host. The location was great and charming, located in a central area, near to the beaches and easy to reach. Amazing! Thank you so much popi!!!!! We will come back as soon as possible!!

Appartamenti molto curati, vicino al centro e alla spiaggia. La Proprietaria è una persona molto disponibile e gentile, sempre pronta ad aiutare per ogni necessita. Vacanze fantastiche . Grazie alla Signora Popi e a elounda paese fantastico

Nous venons à PALEMILOS APARTMENTS depuis des années. La résidence jouit d'une très belle situation. On a l'impression de vivre à la fois en milieu urbain près des commerces, et à la campagne, Palemilos étant situé un peu en retrait. C'est l'endroit idéal pour passer des vacances paisibles. Nous y venons chaque fois pendant 3 semaines, tellement nous apprécions. Depuis le début de la crise sanitaire nous nous sentons en parfaite sécurité en Crète. Nous apprécions également la grande gentillesse des Crétois et à PALEMILOS celle de Poppy, la propriétaire. Elle est toujours très attentionnée envers ses résidents. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit en 2022.

Il punto forte del complesso di appartamenti è sicuramente la posizione centrale: tutti i servizi e la spiaggia di Elounda sono a pochi passi di distanza, senza bisogno di utilizzare l’auto. Gli appartamenti sono puliti e curati e dotati di aria condizionata e Wi-Fi. La cucina è sufficientemente attrezzata e la proprietaria, Popi, ti fa trovare sempre qualcosa nel frigorifero come “benvenuto”. Inoltre è sempre disponibile e, se possibile, cerca di soddisfare ogni richiesta. Sono già alcuni anni che veniamo a Elounda, da soli o con amici, e abbiamo sempre soggiornato ai Palemilos Apartments e non abbiamo mai avuto il minimo problema, anzi speriamo di tornare presto. Location molto curata e di ottimo gusto. Servita da tutti i confort. Vicinissima al mare ,ristoranti ,negozi. Posizione eccellente. La proprietaria gentile disponibile cordiale ospitale. Grazie grazie Popy torneremo a passare delle vacanze fantastiche
