Vorab dieser Review muss man sagen wir haben ein sehr günstiges Angebot genommen (7 Nächte mit Flug für 432€ p.P.) daher die 3/5 aufgrund des Preis-Leistung-Verhältnisses sonst eher 2/5. Lage: Der Senza Garden Holiday Club ist 7 Kilometer von der nächst größeren Stadt Alanya entfernt und in einem Komplex mit drei weiteren Hotelanlagen. Die in den Hang gebauten einzelnen Häuser haben Charme und beherbergen mehrere Zimmer. Wir hatten Glück und hatten ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Restaurants, des Pools und der Weg zum Strand war auch nicht weit. Andere Zimmer hatten deutlich weitere und auch steilere Wege, das ganze Hotel ist wirklich nichts für lauffaule Besucher. Zum Strand gibt es jedoch auch einen Shuttle-Service, der alle 10 min. fährt. Das Buffetrestaurant ist auf einer Anhöhe positioniert und bietet beim Essen einen schönen Blick auf das Meer, den Strand und die einzelnen Landzungen der Küste in Richtung Alanya. Fans von Sonnenuntergängen werden hingegen enttäuscht, das ganze Hotel ist Richtung Osten gebaut. Zimmer: Waren geräumig, schon in die Jahre gekommen, Möbel auf Balkon aus Plastik, Wände (gefühlt) aus Papier. Die Kissen fand ich grauenhaft, ich habe nicht gut geschlafen die Nächte. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Das ”ULTRA-ALLINKLUSIVE-SOMMERKONZEPT 2023” gibt einem die Möglichkeit zwischen 6:00 und 2:00 Uhr lokale Speisen und Getränke kostenfrei zu sich zu nehmen. Dafür gibt es das Hauptrestaurant (Jeweils 2h Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner), die Poolbar und das Bistro unten am Strand. Mein Favorit war definitiv das Bistro unten am Strand mit Pizza, Burger und Pasta. Das Buffet war reichlich. Für Fleisch essende Personen waren mit Abwechslung immer etwas zu finden, Vegetarier haben es da schon deutlich schwieriger, was das warme Essen angeht, mit Ausnahme von Salat, den gab es immer. Für Veganer absolut ungeeignet! (Wahrscheinlich wie der Rest des Landes). Geschmack war okay, daher war ich trotzdem sehr froh über die Mahlzeiten auf unseren Trips außerhalb des Hotels. Zu den Getränken: Effes als Bier ist eine klasse Wahl, kann man schön wegtrinken. Cola, Fanta, Sprite, alles Fein, der Rotwein auch, aber das war es dann auch schon. Die ”Cocktails” wie Mojito und Co. kann man nicht trinken und haben den Namen eigentlich auch nicht verdient. WLAN gegen Gebühr kann man machen, obwohl ich mittlerweile finde, dass sollte als Gast frei verfügbar sein vor allem in Ländern außerhalb der EU durch fehlendes Roaming. WLAN gegen Gebühr pro Person finde ich frech. (Tipp: holt euch eine WLAN repeater app, dann könnt ihr ein Telefon als eigenen Hotspot bereitstellen und andere mitreisende können auch das Internet nutzen) Service: Nun, hier muss man stark differenzieren. Ich fand die Kommunikation teils sehr schwierig (Angegebene Sprache ist Englisch, Deutsch und Russisch) meist sind wir mit einem Mix aus mehreren Sprachen durchgekommen nur Informationen waren schwer verständlich. This hotel is beautiful and we were staying in a nice suite 405, it had a gorgeous big Jacuzzi tub and Sauna (We didn't need a sauna in July, just had to sit outside) There are 3 pools, one indoor, the main outdoor pool, and a smaller pool with slides. It's located high on a hill which means that the views are amazing. The reception staff were truly lovely, especially a brown-haired lady that couldn't do enough. We also had a very nice Waiter called Pedra who did his best to speak English to us and really looked after us on our stay. There are some cats that stray in looking for food which made my son's holiday. The hotel also provides a shuttle to and from the beach daily and there's dedicated seating for hotel guests on the beach. Some improvement points on this hotel, the pools are not ideal for smaller children, while there is a small paddling pool for the real smallies my 5 year old was struggling to play comfortably in the pools as the main pool only has a very short shallow end and he couldn't stand at all in the pool with slides which meant that he had to be held at all times in the water and couldn't play. Also I was expecting a kids club, games room and ice skating, all of which were closed for the full duration of our 2 week stay, this meant that there was very little for him aside from the pool. There is no place to buy snacks such as fruit, crisps, chocolate or anything for pool activities like floats snorkles etc. There is a market at the bottom of the hill where you can buy all of these things however, the hill is EXTREMELY steep and torture to walk up in the heat. I did find out on our last night that if you go to a diff gate you can ring for someone to collect you from the driveway. There's no bar area to sit and relax in in the evenings but again you can go into town quite easily. I didn't to experience the spa as I was traveling alone with my 5yr old but it did look amazing. Overall I'd recommend it to couples and older children but not so much for young children.
