El Xalli

We absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms are basically small apartments, and were plenty of space for our family of 6. They were cozy and stylish, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Oh, and they were spotless! They had two small pools that were great for cooling off, with a bar right between them. The staff was amazing! From helping us with our luggage, to preparing the best drinks by the pool, they were all so friendly and attentive. This was our least expensive hotel during our two week vacation and was our second favorite one! (Only because our first choice was right on the beach) We loved that they had a sister hotel just down the street, Michanti. We got to hangout there one morning, had breakfast, swam in their pool and walked to the beach, which is a 2 minute walk. I can’t rave enough about Xalli! We had such a great time! This will definitely be our go to spot when we go back to El Zonte.

This was a very refreshing and relaxing trip. Plenty of space in the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. We were very comfortable and the ac was fantastic throughout the day and night. The poolside service was outstanding along with the food and drinks. All staff including Alvaro, Eric, and Isara were so friendly and helpful at all points of the day. 10/10 and I hope to come back soon!

Super relaxing and tranquil spot! Pool area was amazing, beverage and food options tasty and easily accessible. Staff was super helpful and welcoming. Room were very spacious. Only non-obvious point was having the (fairly busy) road just below the pool, but not a big deal.

Great service, great views, great time Everyone was informative and helpful with directions, food and drink options. Will definitely recommend to others and look to stay again. Good for both couples or family stays. Look forward to staying again

El Xalli is beautiful and very well equipped for relaxing! The front deck with daybeds, pool and bar is amazing! It is not close to the beach and requires driving but we actually found this ideal for a quiet time of rest on our trip. They brought us a few menu ‘test cocktails’ from the bar that were awesome! The staff were very helpful, courteous and so friendly. Alvaro (manager) helped us book a beautiful ocean front property in La Libertad where his wife works that was also incredible!

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was the best. Alvaro and others were sooo helpful and knowledgeable. Their English is excellent, so communication was a breeze as most of my group members did not speak Spanish. The views are just like the photos. We are all definitely coming back 100%.
