Hotel Euroski Mountain Resort & Spa

Another great holiday at this hotel. The rooms are always clean the bathrooms are spacious and plenty of room in the room for a family. We have stayed here before and it hasn’t changed the staff are still very friendly and always love talking to the children. The only complaint we had was that there was a couple of school trips in to which they had been allotted a time for the pool. One evening we were in at our allotted time before the school and a group of the kids decided to try their look and they came in. They tried to intimidate us and the other customers into moving from the hot tub. They were greeted with a bunch of stubborn olds who wouldn’t move. We spoke to reception about this and they sorted the situation and gave us an extra day in the pool. My one suggestion would have been that a sign could have been placed at reception and at the pool reception stating the time of the schools arrival to the pool. The food was great, always plenty of choice again we timed it round the school but this was fine as we sat in the bar enjoyed the space and played pool. Breakfast was plentiful enough choice to stock up on for a full days ski. The hire shop was great on site and the bus service to the lift was fab and ran regularly and smoothly. On a whole we had a great time and will be back.

Toyed with this hotel a few times over the years, this year it just ticked all the boxes, did really expect anything special to be honest, we booked it due to the pool and spa, you never know if pics have be retouched or were taken ten years ago.... But crikey the hotel really did itself proud, on site ski rental, large relaxing lobby with sofas and views, good bar area, games rooms, going pong good pool area, large dining/breakfast area and the food was great, great selection, so ignore the reviews, they served up some great food, we is a must after a hard days skiing. The ski shuttle bus, there are two of them and they get you to Tarter gondola within a few minutes, it was painless. I was really impressed with the staff, I would recommend and would absolutely stay again. :)

Just returned from a ski trip with friends. Very nice hotel with everything you want from a ski hotel and very well priced as ski hotels go. Welcoming spacious reception area adjoining the good sized bar area greeted us. We were given keys to the free ski lockers downstairs and directed to the the rooms which were clean with plenty of room and a very good sized bathroom which was like new. Great selection of food at both breakfast and in the evening with something for everyone and was served buffet style. Very little queuing although I did feel the serving area was the wrong side of the restaurant being opposite rather than next to the kitchen, however it didn’t cause an issue. Bar has plenty of comfortable chairs and decent enough selection of drinks with friendly staff serving. Didn’t use the spa but didn’t make sense you had some free use and some days you had to pay for. Did use the gym which was sparse in equipment. I resorted to borrowing gear from the Italian ski squad who were also staying there to complete a workout. Ski rental is very conveniently onsite via the small ski shop which is helpful for anything you’ve forgotten. Hotel is out of the way but the minibus shuttle direct to the gondola worked well. Driver was friendly and helpful. In the event you wanted to finish early or late, it’s about 10 min walk from El Tartar or you can get the public bus. Soldeu is about 20 mins walk uphill along the road or again use the bus which was free before 6pm(€1.95 after). Did find the hotel warm at times however that may be ideal for others. All in all nice hotel and for what we paid, really good value. If it’s good enough for some of the best skiers in the world it’s good enough for me. Would happily return here.
