"Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Bellavista Girona by URH. Das Hotel liegt schön auf einem Hügel und bietet eine ruhige Atmosphäre sowie eine wunderschöne Umgebung. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze mit einfachem Zugang, was die Anreise mit dem Auto sehr bequem machte. Das Personal war während des gesamten Aufenthalts hilfsbereit und herzlich. Die Aussicht von der Hotelbar im ersten Stock ist fantastisch und ein großartiger Ort, um zu entspannen und die Landschaft zu genießen. Insgesamt ein sehr erfreuliches Erlebnis."

"It's a well equipped apartment in a central location but spoilt by horrible contract and rules. The apartment had two bedrooms, an open plan sitting and dining area with a partly screened kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed except for a dish cloth. The washing machine and tumble dryer were located behind a wall panel in one of the bedrooms. We had to ask the maintenance team to show us where they were. The bathroom had a large two person sink meaning the toilet was in the shower which was a bit strange. The bed we slept in was huge, the bedding very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free wifi was good and the air conditioning took a while to cool the apartment but was very effective once it got going. A card key opened the front (street) door and apartment door and we felt secure. Although we were above a square with cafes and bars, we weren't disturbed by the noise. There was some noise from the neighbours but this was OK. The cleaning team make a lot of noise on the stairwell when they are working. We had to check in at a hotel about 10 minutes walk away. This was OK for us but might be an issue if you are arriving late or with a lot of luggage. We were asked to sign a 7 page contract which had a lot of rules and threats of charges. We read this carefully. We had to pay an extra 210 euros as a deposit and that we would be charged 60 euros if the apartment wasn't clean and 30 euros if we didn't recycle our rubbish properly. After our stay, we queried these rules and charges and they clarified these but the contract wasn't clear and the hotel staff couldn't clarify at the time of checking in. We couldn't check in until 4pm which we thought was too late given we had to vacate the apartment at 11am. As a result of the rules and threats of charges, we took photos of damage and cleaning issues when we arrived in case the owners tried to charge us for damages and extra cleaning. There were some cleaning issues in the apartment, many of the walls and doors were scuffed and marked, the chair, sofa and cushions were stained as was the carpet. There were burn marks in the flooring and greasy hand prints on the doors and walls. The cistern for the toilet did not stop properly so water ran all the time. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very dirty and we think it was so clogged with dirt that it wouldn't work. It gave a loud noise when you switched it on so we didn't use it. The rule about recycling rubbish properly was because you had to take your rubbish out and deposit it in a series of automatic bins on the street. There is a card in the apartment you have to use to open the bins to put your waste in. The TV in the lounge had very few channels working. We noted many of the local Spanish channels didn't work. The battery cover on the remote control was missing. We paid 150 euros a night which we think is a little expensive for what we got, especially given the maintenance and cleani"

Wir genießen.. Wir Fahrrad ( Rad) von Sehr nützlich, um ein Auto zu haben: Girona ( sehr schöne Stadt 30 min, Strand, Boot mieten in Palamos...."

"It all started so well but ended with the 2 ladies in our party being intimidated and scared for their safety as we were marched off the premises. Initially the 4 of us (2 adult couples with many years travel experience across the world) were met by a convivial and charming host Santi. He showed us around the beautiful buildings and gardens and to our delightful room. It was so perfect I was talking with my wife as using the facilities for our family celebrations next year (2027). Things changed dramatically that night and the next day. The air conditioning in our room had a serious mechanical fault that made significant unreasonable noise which meant we hardly slept that night. I went to see management first thing to raise the matter. Whereas Santi was charming and customer focused I discovered that Ivan has clearly not been to Customer Service school. When I pointed out that the air-con had kept us awake throughout the night his first words were: “Oh, so you found something you don’t like about our beautiful hotel” ….. no, “I’m sorry to hear that, what can we do to make it right". I repeated my complaint to which the response was: “Well hundreds of guests have enjoyed that room OK” I added that maybe the case, but last night we couldn’t sleep because a fault made the room unsuitable for sleep. “Would you like me to find an alternative? I have one at the same rate as yours” I said OK if it provided ALL the facilities I had paid for (including ground floor terrace with direct garden access). The one offered didn’t meet the criteria, but an “upgrade” was offered at an additional €65/night. I said OK but would not pay the extra as all I wanted was to get what I’d paid for but with the ability to sleep. We duly moved to the new room. Come check out 2 days later, I was asked to pay an additional €130 for the upgrade. So I repeated my complaint that I wanted compensation for a lost night’s sleep and that I wasn’t paying the upgrade (as I’d said at the time) as it was the hotel’s responsibility to provide what I’d ordered. After much sarcasm and insincerity from Ivan I realised the best I was going to get was no compensation, no apology (he’d still never expressed any sympathy for a lost night’s sleep) but no upgrade fee. He then got upset when I asked to see a print out of my bill prior to paying (we had extras). I was told that he’d called out the items so why the need for a bill. I said yes, but I wanted to check prices and it’s common practice to see an itemized bill rather than just a total on a card machine. A bill was eventually printed and I paid it in full. In the process Ivan got angry that I suggested that he change the website to point out that the Dining Service mentioned is not available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. His response was a very sarcastic: “Didn’t you read your 2 confirmation emails which make this clear”.
