Green Coast Beach Hotel

Lovely Botique hotel right on the beach, cleans rooms, 5 star selection of breakfast and juices, powerful showers, water to hot for the caribbean, air-con system new and working very well….pizzas just like the real Italian, friendly multi cultural staff, just talking with them makes u feel a part of their close family bond, known Angela for years, Olgas just a star, sweetheart, Alberto the manager has set up a great team over the years. I could not name them all. The views from room 31 makes u want to stay in all day.

Our first night in the Dominican Republic we stayed at Green Beach Coast Hotel as was close to Punta Cana airport. Not as close as we initially thought, but got a taxi there for less than £15. Hotel at the end of a dead end lane in the town. Really nice welcome. Shown though to our room which was a simple suite. Basic but clean. Resonantly comfy bed. Shower nice and hot and free flowing. Beach was accessible via a little alleyway opposite the reception. Having our breakfast (included in the price) on the beach was lovely. WiFi was fine and accessible everywhere even down on the beach. Only drawbacks were that our room had no views and there was a dripping air conditioner unit outside our window onto an old plastic bag which was quite loud (till I reached out and moved the bag a bit). A particularly nice bar (Onno’s) a short walk (100m or so) was very lively with good selection of cocktails. We thought this hotel was a real bargain. Well worth staying. Wish we had booked a couple of nights. But never mind. Next time.
