Ulvik war für uns eine Repositionsstunde von Flam bis zum Abendessen im IRIS/Salmon-Eye, so dass wir nicht viel von der kleinen Stadt oder dem Hotel erwartet hatten. Aber es erschien eine Überraschung für die oberen Seiten im Vergleich zu Flam Fretheim oder Bergen Opus XVI Hotel. Wir reservierten ein Premium-Zimmer mit Fjord-Aussicht und welche Aussicht, die uns beim Eintritt ins Zimmer verfolgt. Der Harder Fjord mit Klippen und engen Pfad ist ein Gras entfernt von unseren Augen. Unser Zimmer war auf der 3. Etage und beide Balkontüren offen zum Balkon mit einfachen Möbeln für einen Outdoor-Trink oder Abendessen. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen leichten nordischen Touch, hell blau und hellen Birch mit Mustfärbe sehr komfortable Lounge-Stühle. Statt der schweren oder Zeitdekoration, macht dieser möblierende Stil das Zimmer aussehen luftig, geräumig und chic. Kudos zum Geschmack. Es gibt einen dekorativen Feuerplatz, der einen Zeitraum berührt, aber mit einem zeitgenössischen Flammen hinzufügt. Das Heizungspanel hat hier tatsächlich funktioniert. Die Stadt war klein mit sehr begrenzten Mahlzeiten, außer dem Hotel selbst oder einem Café neben der Tür, aber die Seitenwand am Fluss zu sehen, wie Abendlicht und Wolke um die Sonne zu sehen war extrem zufriedenstellend. Das ruhige Wasser macht unglaubliche Reflexion über die Welt oben. Die Aussicht konnte nicht besser sein. Am nächsten Tag, als wir nach Rosendal zum Salmon Eye board gingen, hatte unser Hotelzimmer auch Front Fjord View, aber der Kliff-Fall war nicht so dramatisch wie Brakanes Blick. Glücklich, dass wir viele Bilder gemacht haben. Neben diesem, der Service war effizient und freundlich, das Frühstück war gut, aber nicht detailliert. Keine Espresso-Maschine im Zimmer, aber es gibt eine im Lobby und es gibt eine Teekette im Zimmer. Alles in, erstaunliche Aussicht, chic Zimmer und alles über unsere Erwartungen hinaus.

Das Hotel ist das beste Hotel, in dem wir je in den norwegischen Fjorden übernachtet haben, mit großen Zimmern und Balkonblick. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze. Es gibt nur wenige große Hotels in der Umgebung, es gibt einige Gastfamilien, es gibt nur wenige kommerzielle Einrichtungen und es ist nicht bequem, Lebensmittel zu kaufen. Sie können sie im Tankstellenladen kaufen, bevor Sie losfahren. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und nachts sind nur sehr wenige Menschen unterwegs. Das Frühstück ist gut, man sollte eine Mahlzeit bestellen, sonst sollte man Instantnudeln essen. Es ist auch praktisch, Kinder mitzubringen, es gibt ein Dreibettzimmer, ein kleines Bett im kleinen Einzelzimmer, es gibt keine Tür.
