Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments

The perfect location for a family getaway! We travelled as 4 adults and 2 kids and stayed in the penthouse apartment and it was perfect. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of living area, inside and out, with a big verandah that overlooks the pool and Mele Bay. Everything you need is there including the washing machine. Breakfast is on the front deck next to the beach and pool with a variety of choice. The beach is long and great for kids with easy swimming or kayaking. It’s easy to get transport into town either from Keril or a bus just up the road. Walking distance to the Beach Bar for the famous Fire and/or Circus show and Tanna coffee. Just over the bay from Hideaway Island which has great snorkelling. A very relaxed and friendly little, family resort with the staff being some of the best we have met on many trips to Vanuatu. This was a second stay for the grandparents of the group and we were welcomed like old friends. Keril picked us up at the airport and took us wherever we wanted to go. He is a gentleman and so obliging. I hope we get to see you all again next year.

great spot in Vanuatu, great owners, great stuff, great location! very nice clean rooms rooms, very friendly stuff, nice swimming pool. owners are exceptional - after the earthquake, they help local villages (for example to supply water), their support is outstanding. staying there feels like you are part of it & helping those beatiful people, which is a great feeling. definetely recommended, 11/10!

It was lovely and relaxing. The staff - Juliet and Jackie to name a few were the loveliest, so helpful and cheerful and the most gorgeous view. Kerrol was also very obliging with a trip around the island and pick up and drop off to the airport and lots of information. The staff also helped celebrate a birthday. They went above and beyond and would definitely recommend.

We opted to stay here after a week in Port Vila for quick and easy access to Hideaway Island for Snorkelling. The location was stunning, right on the beach with the most fantastic sunsets each evening. The locals use the beach regularly and it was lovely to see the kids and families playing and having fun in the sea. The studio apartment was fantastic, large double bed which was very comfy, sofa bed, kitchen facilities and good sized bathroom all overlooking the pool area. Air con worked great, keeping the large room cool. The price included free breakfast with lots of options (toast, yogurt, cereal etc) and lunch and dinner was also available at the resort which was great and very good value. The cocktails were the best and cheapest we had tried in Vanuatu! You can also purchase basics such as milk, break etc at the resort which is extremely handy to avoid having to go into Port Vila. Just up along the beach from the apartments is Mele Beach bar which offers more food and drink options. Over the weekends they put on a fire show which we really enjoyed but book a table as it is very popular (table 2 was our favourite table as it was directly under a fan which was needed in the hot weather). The staff were fantastic, extremely helpful and friendly. This is a little gem of a place and we will definitely be back!

We were so impressed with our recent stay. Having previously stayed 7 years ago we we were eager to stay again with our 4 children. We stayed in the Penthouse which was a great size for our family. The complex has such a great layout - breakfast on the deck whilst the kids played on the beach. Our included breakfast was always delicious. The prices for the other meals and drinks were cheaper than Australian pricing. The complex is just a short stroll to the beach bar. If you're there Friday night the fire show was amazing! A special shout out to Juliet and Nanny Solemae ( I'm not sure I spelt that right, sorry!) and driver Carol, they were always so accommodating and patient. Thank you again for a memorable stay.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights (should have been 4 but due to air Vanuatu cancellations was only 3) We had a 2 bedroom pool view room and for our family of 2 adults and 2 children it was great. Staff are fantastic, can’t say enough about them. They definitely make your stay extra special. Yes like previously stated in another review , there is a bit of stuff that is outdated or a couple of broken things, But does that affect your stay at all, No not at all. The included breakfast was good, bread is made on site therefore toast was delicious as was the banana bread. If you are expecting a big flash resort then this is not the place for you but if you want somewhere with a smaller amount of guests, fantastic staff and everything you need to have an enjoyable stay then you should definitely consider Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments. We will definitely be back.
