Just had a 2 week stay at this new hotel. Looks are very deceiving! Public area like foyer and Irish bar are very nice but the service from disinterested staff is dreadful. We were given 2 rooms on the front of the hotel but the noise from the main road was dreadful. We had to wait 3 nights to be moved to rooms on the side. Shower wasn't cleaned for the time of our stay, curtains were ripped and beds not frequently changed. Most staff don't understand English but are so miserable and uninterested in guests. One of our party slipped and fell near the entrance of the hotel and suffered a nasty fall resulting in facial injuries. There was no first aid kit in the hotel however she was offered a glass of water and 2 pieces of baklava! She was then presented with a typed note saying she had fallen due to low blood pressure and sustained minor scrapes and asked to sign saying she refused to go to hospital! An absolute disgrace! No accident book or reporting system and no managers in the hotel to talk to. This is an awful hotel and given I've stayed in most I would say I'm an expert. The Lords Palace is by far better.

Beautifully decorated hotel, really smart in all areas. Economy room was huge. Also viewed the other room types and will definitely consider a sea view room in future as well as the economy room. (Not mountain view only due to main road outside.) Food was beautiful, meat was cooked to perfection (my hubby cooks and is very particular about food but loved everything.) Desserts were to die for. Breakfast has cereals, nuts, pulses, jams, yogurts, bread for toast, salad and fruits, multiple delicious pastries, Turkish omelette, scrambled, boiled and poached eggs, beans, pancakes, a spicy Turkish meat that was lovely, halloumi, sausage in tomato sauce, a Turkish wrap that was delish, ham and cheeses. Dinner options were chips, fish dish, boiled vegetables chicken dish, 1 other meat dish (saw lamb and beef on alternative nights), soup, pizza, pasta with different sauces, salad options and desserts and fruits. Water is given complimentary with each meal. Tea, coffee and juice is available at breakfast, to order a drink with dinner was reasonably priced. The Efes on draft was very smooth and refreshing. Had an issue with the electrics going off in the room on last night. Called reception and they promptly sent someone with towels (misunderstanding due to language difference bless them ) He called someone else to come and they fixed very quickly with an account of what they were going to do whenever they had to leave us in the dark-literally 😂. Rooms were lovely and clean, whole hotel is spotless. Staff are friendly and restaurant staff are very efficient.. One waiter thought we had left and cleared the table very quickly which we had a laugh about with him as it's no bother. Bellboy was very willing to help anytime we saw him, we only had 1 suitcase too. WiFi is very fast in all areas. Bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get up for breakfast. Loved the hotel, very happy with our stay there and will definitely return.

Amazing property , very nice food, very central , amazing staff . Very clean room. Amazing breakfast. Recommend to all my friends . Lot of coffee shop close to area, sea front is behind the hotel, special thanks to Miss Alina from front desk.

Me and my wife have been a regular at this hotel since it first opened. We often visit upto 3 times a week to enjoy the bar. Unfortunately we certainly won’t be visiting anymore. We had the misfortune of attending their Christmas Eve “party event”. This turned out to be an utter disaster!!! The staff ( including the managers were absolutely clueless) no one had a clue what was going on. The food was atrocious and took almost 5 hours to serve 3 courses. ( the “ turkey ” looked like road kill and was freezing cold. I honestly think it’s the worst food I’ve ever been served up on a plate in my entire life. Absolutely everyone complained about it. Even after having such a poor experience I gave the management the opportunity to rectify this experience. I contacted them over 10 times giving them a chance to at least offer us something back ( I know they offered friends of ours a free buffet she showed me the emails) but alas the management refused to budge hence this is my honest review. Christmas Day we had the best experience at the Lords Palace hotel in town. So my advice is to avoid this hotel and pick the Lords Palce.

The rooms were beautiful with sea / Mountain View’s. Reception seating areas delightful and comfortable. Christmas Eve dining at the rooftop restaurant with a live musical performance was very disappointing. Food arrived late and luke warm with a 2 hour interval between second, third courses. On being presented with cold roast dinners for the third time, our table of 8 decided to leave the restaurant. The waiters were attentive but lacked training. Having to carry food some 20 meters across an open air terrace was not ideal to keeping food hot! We were not charged for the evenings poor experience. A bottle of Prosecco and a fruit platter was sent to our room as a way of apology from the management. Christmas Day breakfast / lunch from the ground floor buffet was delicious with multiple choices and attentive waiters. Unfortunately we will not recommend or use the hotel for anything other than buffet service meals.

They need to train the staff in how to serve tables and react to guests requests and basic needs. We were there as a table of 8 on Christmas Eve which was a choice of 4 pre ordered set main course meals. The starter a soup, was just about warm, but took 1 hour from sitting down to being placed on the table , followed by a gap of two hours before the main course started to arrive.Unfortunately this was cold, uninviting with the staff having no clue whatsoever who had ordered which main dish, . The staff were running about with the main course plates, like headless chickens with no leadership or method of table management, this is not how to run a restaurant. Christmas Day buffet was better, with a good selection of salads, cooked meat’s & fish with a generous dessert counter, but the ‘hot’ food was only Luke warm, albeit plentiful. The staff were better, but they only had to serve drinks & remove plates. Rooms were very clean with plenty of space. With everything thing you needed. So a 2 for staff service a 3 for food but a 5 for room & cleanliness

Rubbish place. The room was dirty and had stained sheets. The staff was always unhelpful and snobbish, refusing to help, shrugging their shoulders, basically acting like I was disturbing their alone time. I don’t know if they realise they’re at WORK. Facilities were alright. Nothing spectacular so I wouldn’t recommend this given how poor the service was

Having just returned from a 2 weeks stay at the MC Palace we have to say what a great experience we had. The rooms are spacious and well presented with plenty of storage, which is really unusual as many hotels are lacking in that department. We found the staff helpful and polite and most had a good amount of English speaking ability. But let’s be honest, we can’t expect everybody in the world to speak our language. The food was good, but sometimes repetitive in the dining room. Although other menus were available at a cost. The hotel is a fair distance from town and taxis can be expensive and most drivers do make up their own prices as they go. In 2024 I was told that the hotel will be offering a shuttle service into town, which will be a welcome addition. There is a shuttle service to the beach but we didn’t visit it, so I can’t comment on that service. Yelda on customer service was our main point of contact if we had any questions, I must say that the whole team were amazing and always had time for us and welcomed us with a smile. From the bell boys that worked tirelessly to the hotel security which were always there for a chat, to the restaurant waiters and waitresses and management, everybody was there to make our stay as enjoyable as they could. So a big thank you to every one of them. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday that’s away from the noises of a tourist destination then this hotel will not disappoint.
